General Info
Short Stop driving was created in 2011 by Tony Short. Mr. Short has been a public schools educator for the past 13 years. He has taught in Paw paw public schools and Niles community schools. While in paw paw he was a k-2 physical education instructor where he helped develop their current PE curriculum. While in Niles, Mr. short was a 9-12 physical education instructor as well as a public speaking instructor. He has also coached football in both school districts, both at the junior varsity level and the varsity level. Short stop driving became an excellent opportunity and way to stay connected to the students and schools during these hard economic times. it was also a way to maintain being a role model for students throughout the entire school year. Mr. short believes that short stop driving will not only teach your child the skills, training, Safety, and information required to be a responsible and courteous driver but also the importance of everyday values that are taught throughout the school year.

To be fair, we dropped my kiddo from the class before it even started and signed her up for drivers training at a different company (two other parents who had kids signed up with us dropped as well for the same reason.)
The instructor was nothing short of rude and disrespectful in all email and video communication.
There is no situation in which I would spend my money and support a business that treats students and parents poorly... If there were no other choices we would still not go with Short Stop...
If he is that way towards the students and parents together, I can only imagine how he would be one on one with the students, especially in a driving situation.
What I can't figure out is why there aren't other similar reviews!?
For any parent or child that wants to be treated with kindness and respect, I advise, find a different company for drivers training... ((After we all dropped from this one we discovered there is a good reviewed one in Berrien Springs OR if one of the parents live in Indiana you could call Dynamic in South Bend.))

Our 16 yr old took the courses this year and those were fine and dandy, however, we have discovered the test portion to be scummy. We've had to reschedule/retake like 7 times now. They're unclear of w...
Our 16 yr old took the courses this year and those were fine and dandy, however, we have discovered the test portion to be scummy. We've had to reschedule/retake like 7 times now. They're unclear of what documents you need and seem to come up with new needed documents every time. This time, it was because papa took him, but apparently needs written permission to do so. But there's nothing about it that I could find in the Information we were given. Greedy people. $75 per test for anyone wondering.

I took my segment 1 & 2 classes with Short Stop Driving School. I had a good experience, no problems at all, and I've yet to hear anything bad about them. The price is also decent. I 100% recommend them if you're thinking about taking driver's training classes (or have a kid who needs driver's training).
