It is nearly impossible to schedule drives at the Novi location and the instructor’s guidance is just to “check the portal 8 times a day” until spots are available. They should not take so many students if there are no drive times. Emails with questions do not get answered.

Avoid at all costs! They do not have enough instructors to provide the required drive time in the allotted timeframe. None of this was told to us beforehand. You will wait weeks to find scarce dates...
Avoid at all costs! They do not have enough instructors to provide the required drive time in the allotted timeframe. None of this was told to us beforehand. You will wait weeks to find scarce dates for your student to drive....BEWARE!!

Today we had a great experience with David at the Ann Arbor location! He was very patient and professional. My son felt comfortable during his lessons and learned a lot. I appreciated being able to meet with David after the lesson to get insight and pointers on my son’s progress. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent driving school! Definitely one of Michigan’s best! I am so proud of my improvement and test readiness in only 3 sessions and I would have not done it without my instructor Tom! He was so patient, kind and full of great tips that helped decrease my driving anxiety. Thank you to Tom for all your patience! I would definitely recommend Official Driving School!

I typically do not leave reviews. However, my daughter had such an amazing experience with Tom O’Callaghan as her driving instructor, that I had to let others’ know. He is very calm and patient which is so important for these new drivers. He also allowed both her father and myself to drive along on her last practice drive of the session so that we were able to see how he gave corrections and where she was in her progress. He was also very flexible with scheduling the drives to accommodate our busy schedule. I would highly recommend you schedule all of your drives with Tom. You won’t regret it!

Sears School did not concentrate on parallel parking. If you do not know this you FAIL instantly & loose $60.
After segment ended Mr Germany charged us $ for many Personal lessons. This extra $ not easy; we wanted a Superb & Cautious driver. We paid Mr Germany, he said he is in demand as one of the best teachers. We trusted him! When our teen needed help with parallel to PASS; Mr Germany would NOT answer our calls any longer. We guess he got enough $ from us & passing did not matter to him!

They know what they're talking about, and the hands on driving lessons are fantastic, but if you go here, make sure your kid doesn't get Mr. Fredenburg. He's strict to the point of being unreasonable ...
They know what they're talking about, and the hands on driving lessons are fantastic, but if you go here, make sure your kid doesn't get Mr. Fredenburg. He's strict to the point of being unreasonable and has told off students for taking notes in class. His strict rules regarding a day of class not counting for completely arbitrary reasons have caused conflicts that can only be resolved by contacting the front office directly. You have been warned.

While the instructor seems knowledgable, Segment one includes an instructor who is unapproachable, strict, and has scolded students for taking notes in class. The actual driving classes went well and students feel safe.

Both my children learned to drive at the Sears school, and they've turned out to be decent drivers. The location is very convenient for us as well.

It is nearly impossible to schedule drives at the Novi location and the instructor’s guidance is just to “check the portal 8 times a day” until spots are available. They should not take so many students if there are no drive times. Emails with questions do not get answered.

Today we had a great experience with David at the Ann Arbor location! He was very patient and professional. My son felt comfortable during his lessons and learned a lot. Excellent driving school! Definitely one of Michigan’s best! I am so proud of my improvement and test readiness in only 3 sessions and I would have not done it without my instructor Tom! I typically do not leave reviews. However, my daughter had such an amazing experience with Tom O’Callaghan as her driving instructor, that I had to let others’ know. He is very calm and patient which is so important for these new drivers. He also allowed both her father and myself to drive along on her last practice drive of the session so that we were able to see how he gave corrections and where she was in her progress. He was also very flexible with scheduling the drives to accommodate our busy schedule. I would highly recommend you schedule all of your drives with Tom. You won’t regret it!

After segment ended Mr Germany charged us $ for many Personal lessons. This extra $ not easy; we wanted a Superb & Cautious driver.
