Absolute Disaster – Inflexible, Hidden, and Money-Hungry
I should have known by the name "Courtesy" Driving School that this experience would be anything but courteous. The irony is staggering.
After waiting over a month for an appointment for my son's road test, the entire experience on June 6th was a complete disaster.
First, the location details are a joke. The test was at Avon North Hill Lanes on Tienken. Anyone with common sense would look in the massive front parking lot. Instead, the instructor was hiding in a small, obscure area tucked behind the building. Because of traffic, we arrived a few minutes late. Instead of showing any professional understanding that traffic happens, the instructor sat in her car until we approached and was instantly agitated. She kept repeating that we were running late, which made my son incredibly nervous right before his test. Zero smiles, zero reassurance, and zero customer service.
To make matters worse, we accidentally left his Segment 2 certificate on the kitchen counter. While I acknowledge the contract lists what to bring, their total lack of flexibility or modern technology is absurd. In 2026, why is this information not digitally accessible to the instructor? We live only 3 miles away. I begged the instructor to let him take the road portion while I zipped home to grab it. Shot down instantly. We tried to get a family member to text a photo, but no one was home.
Instead of trying to help a nervous teenager or showing an ounce of "courtesy," they pocketed my $90, refused a refund, and sent us away. They are completely inflexible, hidden away, and running a total cash grab. Save your money and go to a driving school that actually understands customer service. Read Less
