I had an excellent experience at RTDS Trucking School! The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about helping every student succeed. The training is hands-on, well organized, and prepares you with the skills and confidence needed to pass the CDL test and start a trucking career. The staff is friendly, supportive, and always willing to answer questions. I highly recommend RTDS Trucking School to anyone looking for professional, high-quality CDL training. Thank you for an amazing learning experience!

The school was excellent and extremely informative. The entire staff is genuinely friendly and supportive — especially Dana, Michelle, Keith, Alisha, Gary, and Ali!
These guys are true professionals who don’t just give you the tools to succeed — they make sure you actually use them and don’t fall behind.
They’re always willing to help, whether you need to ask questions or get one-on-one support.
I was able to attend through the WIOA Grant program that Dana helped me secure in the office. It does take a few months to get approved, but don’t give up — it’s 100% worth it.
IN FACT: Exactly one year ago today (5/22/2025), I posted a comment on their YouTube channel saying I was going to do this… and today (5/22/2026) I graduated and received my diploma.
As you can see, I manifested it!
So if you’re thinking about joining RTDS, just do it. Trucking is in high demand and the future looks bright for the entire industry.
My best advice: Study hard, especially your Pre-Trip inspection. Stay focused, put in the work, and execute. You’ll be glad you did!

had an outstanding experience at this CDL trucking school. From day one, the instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping every student succeed. They broke everything down clearly—classroom lessons, pre-trip inspections, shifting, backing maneuvers, and road driving—making the learning process smooth and stress-free.
What stood out most was how supportive the environment was. The staff never made you feel rushed or judged; instead, they gave you real, hands-on practice until you felt confident and comfortable behind the wheel. They also prepared us extremely well for the DMV exam, and it’s clear they know exactly what new drivers need to not just pass, but actually thrive once they get on the road.
The equipment was well-maintained, scheduling was flexible, and the whole process felt organized and professional. If you’re serious about earning your CDL and want a school that truly cares about your success, I highly recommend this one. It was worth every minute.

RTDS is a great school in Las Vegas with flexible scheduling of training and with the option to get your CDL in a Manual Truck or Automatic Truck. My instructor Jay was very patient with me and very motivating. He gave me great insight on truck driving. The tester Mr. Foreman was very friendly and also had great insight into the world of trucking. These guys have been drivers for many years. They know their stuff. Albina in the office was very accommodating to my schedule and the office was very clean and welcoming. The yard where we practice driving is in a nice location in Las Vegas. It made for a nice experience when driving around the area.

My overall experience with this trucking school was awesome, all the instructors did a really Good job training me on what was to come up during my behind the wheel exam. Also, they give you the study guides on what u need to know for when you go in and take your test for the permit, study guide by the way was very effective ! Passed both my permit and behind the wheel exam with no problem! I will definitely recommend this school to everybody who is looking for a good truck driving school!

I'm a recent graduate of RTDS Truck Driving School and I couldn't be more happier. This place means business! The entire staff is dedicated to get you licensed and on the road fast with the proper know how to keep you and others safe on the road. I've checked out other places and was discouraged with them, but then I spoke to a graduate of RTDS Truck Driving School and went to see them and I was convinced this was the place to get my CDL and he was right. Just check them out if your interested and you'll agree too.
I recommend to everyone this amazing school !!!

I looked into this school for my husband back in October and found it kind of pricey. When we had consultation back in October they told us they have Morning and night class, but when March came around not only did they NOT have night classes but the price went up as well. So I ended up finding a local school in town for $3500 and only $500 up front and $3000 due on the last week of school giving night classes in my husbands schedule and in a week of school he's already gotten his permit from DMV and already job placement!!! Check out southwest Trucking! They are not only very informative during the initial school appointment of signing up but he was so informative that we spent 2 hours on asking questions and going over things that no other truck company does for you. The cherry on top of the cake is that Southwest Trucking is a 3rd party CDL testing...so you use their trucks and test on site. RTDS doesn't! You can only use their trucks. Rip off for +$6000.

I did a research on the best school for the money to get my commercial driver’s license. After much research I decided to go to RTDS Trucking School in Las Vegas, NV and I am so glad I did. Not only did they answer all of my questions upfront, their fees were very reasonable. Their training is one on one and they were able to work with my schedule so I could get my license quickly. I felt confident when I took my exam that I would pass. I will and have recommended RTDS Trucking School to anyone looking to get their commercial license.

Thank you for everything RTDS Truck Driving School. I always thought that I was never going to obtain my Commercial Class A because I didn't know how to drive stick shift. But since the first time I called the school they gave me hope and said they teach you how to drive stick shift. And look at me now... a commercial Driver. Pass my driving test on the first try. I was very nervous the first day I attended the school. I felt the instructors weren't going to have patience with me but I quickly found out that they make learning a lot of fun and less stressful. They take there time explaining every single part of the tractor, trailer, air brakes, and skills. Thank you so much Again RTDS Truck Driving School. Good Job !!!Now I can give my family a better future.

I looked into this school for my husband back in October and found it kind of pricey. When we had consultation back in October they told us they have Morning and night class, but when March came around not only did they NOT have night classes but the price went up as well. So I ended up finding a local school in town for $3500 and only $500 up front and $3000 due on the last week of school giving night classes in my husbands schedule and in a week of school he's already gotten his permit from DMV and already job placement!!! Check out southwest Trucking! They are not only very informative during the initial school appointment of signing up but he was so informative that we spent 2 hours on asking questions and going over things that no other truck company does for you. The cherry on top of the cake is that Southwest Trucking is a 3rd party CDL testing...so you use their trucks and test on site. RTDS doesn't! You can only use their trucks. Rip off for +$6000.

I did a research on the best school for the money to get my commercial driver’s license. After much research I decided to go to RTDS Trucking School in Las Vegas, NV and I am so glad I did. Not only did they answer all of my questions upfront, their fees were very reasonable. Their training is one on one and they were able to work with my schedule so I could get my license quickly. I felt confident when I took my exam that I would pass. I will and have recommended RTDS Trucking School to anyone looking to get their commercial license.

Thank you for everything RTDS Truck Driving School. I always thought that I was never going to obtain my Commercial Class A because I didn't know how to drive stick shift. But since the first time I called the school they gave me hope and said they teach you how to drive stick shift. And look at me now... a commercial Driver. Pass my driving test on the first try. I was very nervous the first day I attended the school. I felt the instructors weren't going to have patience with me but I quickly found out that they make learning a lot of fun and less stressful. They take there time explaining every single part of the tractor, trailer, air brakes, and skills. Thank you so much Again RTDS Truck Driving School. Good Job !!!Now I can give my family a better future.

best school in USA, very good instructors, very good studding material, very affordable i took the 3 day express course and pass the Skill test from the first time with very few mistakes just because the instructor was very good and have more then 15 years experience in driving big truck teaching and testing. DOT listen to other schools trust me its worth it. highly recommended. i traveled from Atlanta to Las Vegas and still saved money choosing them.
