My son had a GREAT experience with Scott...from Scott picking him up to take him to his office for the written test...till the end of the six hours of driving lessons a week later. We switched from a different driving school at the eleventh hour due to a friend recommending Scott...and I am so glad we did!!!!! Scott was professional, kind, prompt and extremely flexible with our crazy schedule. My son described him as "hands on" and "chill." I think in teenage language that means AWESOME!!!! The most important trait in a driving instructor, I feel, is to put your child at ease so they have a safe and positive experience. Scott passed our test with flying colors!!!!!! I ordinarily don't write online reviews, but feel compelled to do so because I had such a great experience with this company. I'm an adult driver who happened to get a Ph.D. before a driver's license. Steve was my primary teacher. I took six hours of lessons with him, which would have been enough to pass the road test. He was outstanding, and I felt confident I could pass. I expected to be a very anxious driver, but I honestly never felt nervous behind the wheel because his instructions were so precise. I actually found driving to be fun. I booked an additional four hours and the road test with East Coast because I wanted to invest the time to really learn things the right way before I was on the road alone. For my extra lessons, I had Denny and Raymond as teachers and they were excellent, too. I passed my road test the first time around thanks to this team. More importantly, I don't feel fearful about driving on the roads or highways. I'd recommend this school to anyone. Read Less

We used East Coast Driving School for our 16-year old daughter. The school provides a summer program at Princeton Day School, which is where we learned about their driving instruction. We and many of our daughter's friends LOVE the school -- and every year, ECDS is the go-to program for 17 year olds at PDS. The instructors are professional, patient, and specialize in nervous drivers. You will not be disappointed. Do not take that negative review that another reviewer posted seriously. East Coast has been in the business for over 18 years, and they have a great track record. We wouldn't trust our daughter (a very nervous driver who never thought she would get her license), with anyone else. Read Less
