Awesome experience from a parent perspective. Didn't have to do much other than bring the required documents. They handled my son permit, 6 hours required behind the wheel, scheduling his license test and taking him to his driving test (this cost extra but well worth it). They drove the course right before testing and practiced parking too and he used their car. Highly recommend.

I had such an amazing experience with South Jersey Driving School! Everyone was so kind, professional, and supportive throughout my driving lessons. My instructors Peggy and Mark were absolutely wonderful, and I truly loved learning from them. They were both patient, encouraging, and made me feel comfortable and confident every time I drove.
They explained everything clearly, helped calm my nerves, and really cared about helping me improve. Thanks to them, I became a much better and more confident driver. I’m so grateful for all their help and I would like to also give a shout out to Tommy. He was the one who drove me to the place where I took my driving test and I had a little issue but he made sure I still took my test that day that it was scheduled so thank you and I would highly recommend South Jersey Driving School to anyone learning how to drive!

Great experience with SJ Driving School. Used their service for 6hrs of on the road for my daughter to get her permit. The instructors encouraged her throughout and helped her overcome any hesitation. We came back to them to use their license testing service and it helped my daughter to get into the right mindset before the on the road test. All around great experience with this team!

I enrolled my 16.5yo daughter for the driving lessons. They came right to the house or school to pick her up, so convenient. The instructors she had were phenomenal, she really liked the both. The best part, for an additional (small) fee, the picked her up, gave a refresher lesson and took her to the NJ MVC for her test.my daughter wanted to take the test in SKDS’s car, that was also very convenient. Needless to say, she passed her test! Thank you SJDS, I HIGHLY recommend them for all driving training.

We had an excellent experience with South Jersey Driving School! My son used them for his driving hours and road test, and they did an outstanding job from start to finish. The instructors were professional, patient, and truly dedicated to helping him feel confident behind the wheel. The scheduling process was smooth, and they kept us informed every step of the way. Thanks to their guidance, he passed his road test with ease. I highly recommend South Jersey Driving School to any parent looking for a top-notch driving school for their son/daughter.

Worked with Tony, the owner, to do a stick shift lesson. I had zero experience driving a manual transmission car so was very anxious getting behind the wheel. Tony did a really thorough job of explaining how a manual transmission worked (clutch, breaking, shifting, rpms etc) to really put me at ease before we even got going. He was also extremely patient with me as it took quite a few tries before I got comfortable in releasing the clutch in 1st without stalling. By the end of the lesson, I felt very at ease and the motions were really starting to feel natural. I would highly recommend SJDS for anyone looking to learn how to drive stick. P.S. Bonus: The Camaro was a really fun car to drive.

South Jersey Driving School I would recommend to all my family and friends. The staff is amazing, very professional, and will get back to you immediately without waiting days on questions you may have. Mr Tony kept in touch with me as he promised. My son was scheduled for his road test on July 3. 2017 and was unable to take it due to the state's shut down, Mr Tony called me and advised me that he will stay in touch if any thing were to change and he kept his word. My son is now scheduled for July 5th. I just wanted to say the staff is professional, the pricing is affordable and when giving lessons they have patience with the student driver and made my son very comfortable and have confidence to be behind the wheel. Again thank you South Jersey Driving school from myself and Na'Zeire YOU GUYS ROCK

Do not use this driving school to learn stick shift. The instructor has no patience in teaching. He didn't even start me in a parking lot he demanded that I start on the road. He yelled at me for a majority of the lesson. I was almost involved in an accident. He kept using confusing and unclear terms to describe the proper operation of a manual transmission car. I am a slow learner, I will acknowledge that but I was treated poorly during the lesson. The instructor also instructed me to run several stop signs in clear violation of traffic laws.

Great driving school for automatic ( 5 stars) however I didn't like the stick shift lessons guy was very rude and nasty. There a certain way to talk to people when you teach them something I didn't not enjoy getting talk to in a loud passive aggressive way in which you feel belittled all because your making learning mistakes. Thumbs down on the stick shift lessons not worth it in my opinion.

Best driving school out there! Tony and MaryBeth are so very nice, and make the whole process effortless to the parents. My children got premium driving instruction. The instructors were very laid back and easy-going (much more so than I am in the passenger seat!) and so very nice! My children were very happy with them. I rate this 5+!

I took both my six hours and stick shift lesson from Tony 11 years ago. He was very informative and patient. Time was spent not only on driving in accordance with traffic laws, but on tips for handling situations that may arise while driving. I would recommend this school to anybody looking for driving lessons that will actually prepare you or your children for real-world driving.

Awesome experience from a parent perspective. Didn't have to do much other than bring the required documents. They handled my son permit, 6 hours required behind the wheel, scheduling his license test and taking him to his driving test (this cost extra but well worth it). They drove the course right before testing and practiced parking too and he used their car. Highly recommend.

I had such an amazing experience with South Jersey Driving School! Everyone was so kind, professional, and supportive throughout my driving lessons. My instructors Peggy and Mark were absolutely wonderful, and I truly loved learning from them. They were both patient, encouraging, and made me feel comfortable and confident every time I drove.

Worked with Tony, the owner, to do a stick shift lesson. I had zero experience driving a manual transmission car so was very anxious getting behind the wheel. Tony did a really thorough job of explaining how a manual transmission worked (clutch, breaking, shifting, rpms etc) to really put me at ease before we even got going. South Jersey Driving School I would recommend to all my family and friends. The staff is amazing, very professional, and will get back to you immediately without waiting days on questions you may have. Mr Tony kept in touch with me as he promised. My son was scheduled for his road test on July 3. 2017 and was unable to take it due to the state's shut down, Mr Tony called me and advised me that he will stay in touch if any thing were to change and he kept his word. My son is now scheduled for July 5th. The instructors were very laid back and easy-going (much more so than I am in the passenger seat!) and so very nice! My children were very happy with them. I rate this 5+!

I took both my six hours and stick shift lesson from Tony 11 years ago. He was very informative and patient. Time was spent not only on driving in accordance with traffic laws, but on tips for handling situations that may arise while driving. I would recommend this school to anybody looking for driving lessons that will actually prepare you or your children for real-world driving.
