Honestly, I would not recommend Mark to anyone looking for a driving instructor. My experience was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. To start, he showed up three hours late to our lesson without any communication or apology. That alone already felt incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful of my time.
Once the lesson began, things only got worse. Mark was impatient and quick to anger, constantly snapping at me over small mistakes — even though I’m a beginner and obviously still learning. I understand driving can be stressful, but his energy was intense and made it really hard to focus or feel comfortable behind the wheel.
What really crossed the line, though, were the inappropriate and racially insensitive comments he made during the drive. It was shocking and made me feel disrespected and unsafe. That kind of language has no place in a learning environment, especially one where trust is so important.
Overall, this experience felt more stressful than helpful. I left the lesson feeling more discouraged than when I started. If you’re looking for someone who’s supportive, respectful, and actually wants to teach — I’d suggest finding someone else. This was not it.

Mark and Trish are absolute sweet hearts. They take great care for their students. Mark taught me everything I needed to know about driving. Especially when coming time to take the road test Mark calm down my nerves and I passed my road test. Highly recommend using Mtv!!!

I registered my daughter to receive driving lessons from MTV Driving school only after getting rave reviews from a bunch of friends. They lied to me and scheduled my daughter with an instructor who no...
I registered my daughter to receive driving lessons from MTV Driving school only after getting rave reviews from a bunch of friends. They lied to me and scheduled my daughter with an instructor who no longer works there and who also does not currently have her license to teach. On the day of the first scheduled lesson, I received a phone call saying that the instructor was sick and they had to reschedule my sessions. Meanwhile, they had not prepped her permit and had no intentions of providing her the service that was promised and paid for. They have since denied my request to be refunded. Do yourself a favor and stay away! Don’t get tricked by their false kindness and lies. Go somewhere else! If I can give them 0 stars for lying, stealing and doing nothing they promised, I would.

Dear MTV Driving School,
I want to thank Diane and Mark at MTV Driving School. When I called the school to schedule lessons, Diane scheduled me right in and was very professional and pleasant to speak with. She made me feel like I could really do this, Mark was my instructor for all of the lessons. Mark is a very good teacher and he is very straightforward, clear and direct with his guidance. Driving on the roadways is a very serious thing, it is important to drive correctly and safely. If you want to learn how to drive and learn a lots of tips about the roadways that you wouldn’t typically think of.. then, call MTV Driving School for the best results!
I want to personally thank Mark again, for really helping me overcome one of my biggest fears and for teaching me how to drive the right way and how to drive safely.
And now.. I finally have my driver’s license!

I hired them so that my son could receive a one hour lesson before his driving test. Passed the test on the first try thanks to Mark. Also thanks to Brenda for explaining all the ins and outs of using our own car for the test and making sure all our paperwork was in good order.

Stay Away! Instructor never showed for first lesson and never bothered to let us know. Subsequent lessons usually started late and ended early. For what you are paying, every minute counts. The instructor often shouted at my child and never even covered k turns. During the last lesson, the instructor took a phone call while my child was driving! When the lessons were over my child had a terrible fear of driving and we had to get additional lessons at another school. In short, I have nothing positive to say about Mtv. Save your time, there are far better options close by.

I've had great experiences with MTV Driving School. They are very helpful, answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. I've used Mrs. Hilfman for my son and will be using her again for my daughter. She is patient, funny and helps the kids relax and enjoy their driving experience while learning how to drive.

My daughter came home crying because of the instructor was yelling and cursing at her. Do not spend your hard earned money at this school. Pick another one who really care and have patience to teach your children. I will give zero star if that is allow.

Honestly, I would not recommend Mark to anyone looking for a driving instructor. My experience was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. To start, he showed up three hours late to our lesson without any communication or apology. That alone already felt incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful of my time.
Once the lesson began, things only got worse. Mark was impatient and quick to anger, constantly snapping at me over small mistakes — even though I’m a beginner and obviously still learning. I understand driving can be stressful, but his energy was intense and made it really hard to focus or feel comfortable behind the wheel.
What really crossed the line, though, were the inappropriate and racially insensitive comments he made during the drive. It was shocking and made me feel disrespected and unsafe. That kind of language has no place in a learning environment, especially one where trust is so important.
Overall, this experience felt more stressful than helpful. I left the lesson feeling more discouraged than when I started. If you’re looking for someone who’s supportive, respectful, and actually wants to teach — I’d suggest finding someone else. This was not it.

I registered my daughter to receive driving lessons from MTV Driving school only after getting rave reviews from a bunch of friends. They lied to me and scheduled my daughter with an instructor who no longer works there and who also does not currently have her license to teach. On the day of the first scheduled lesson, I received a phone call saying that the instructor was sick and they had to reschedule my sessions. Dear MTV Driving School,
I want to thank Diane and Mark at MTV Driving School. When I called the school to schedule lessons, Diane scheduled me right in and was very professional and pleasant to speak with. She made me feel like I could really do this, Mark was my instructor for all of the lessons. Mark is a very good teacher and he is very straightforward, clear and direct with his guidance. Driving on the roadways is a very serious thing, it is important to drive correctly and safely. If you want to learn how to drive and learn a lots of tips about the roadways that you wouldn’t typically think of.. then, call MTV Driving School for the best results!
I want to personally thank Mark again, for really helping me overcome one of my biggest fears and for teaching me how to drive the right way and how to drive safely.
And now.. I finally have my driver’s license!

I hired them so that my son could receive a one hour lesson before his driving test. Passed the test on the first try thanks to Mark. Also thanks to Brenda for explaining all the ins and outs of using our own car for the test and making sure all our paperwork was in good order.

Stay Away! Instructor never showed for first lesson and never bothered to let us know. Subsequent lessons usually started late and ended early. For what you are paying, every minute counts. The instructor often shouted at my child and never even covered k turns. During the last lesson, the instructor took a phone call while my child was driving! I've had great experiences with MTV Driving School. They are very helpful, answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. I've used Mrs. Hilfman for my son and will be using her again for my daughter. She is patient, funny and helps the kids relax and enjoy their driving experience while learning how to drive.
