Five years ago, when our son Andrew got his permit, we contacted Gary Thomson’s Driving School for his driving lessons and road test preparation. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and the way they guided us through all of the paperwork and requirements with the state. Andrew had a great experience from start to finish.
Fast forward to today, when our daughter Miranda was ready to get her permit, there was no question who we would call — Gary Thomson’s Driving School once again. We’re happy to say we had the exact same great experience! Professional, organized, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process.
We highly recommend contacting Gary Thomson’s Driving School when your child reaches driving age. Thank you for helping make such an important milestone a smooth and positive experience for both of our kids! 🚗🎉

My son was afraid to drive. He had anxiety about it, but I needed him to get his license to drive himself to school and to go see his friends, that live out of the area. He completed the 6 hours of on the road with Rudy and Jake. They were kind and understanding. George, the owner even took my son to his driver’s test when no one else was available! George answered all my calls, texts and any questions. They were professional, personable and handled my shy son with care and grace. After his on the road sessions were completed, my son asked me if he could practice! His confidence was high and he is now driving alone! Thank you!!!!

Very good driving school! Many years ago, I did my lessons with this school as an adult driver and had such a positive memory of the experience, I kept it in mind for when my kids were of driving age....
Very good driving school! Many years ago, I did my lessons with this school as an adult driver and had such a positive memory of the experience, I kept it in mind for when my kids were of driving age. My older son recently did lessons and the road test with an instructor named Rudy, who my son said was a fantastic instructor and very chill, which made my son feel at ease and confident. Rudy was extremely supportive and helpful even during the stress of having to change test dates due to weather and made sure to send my son a congratulatory note as soon as he saw him complete the road test. Will be using this school for my younger son too when it's his turn.

I wish I could give George & his team of instructors more than 5 stars. My son had the best experience with his driving instructors. If anyone has a nervous 16 year old looking for driving lessons, I highly recommend Gary Thomson Driving School. The owner, George Clayton, is very good at communicating with parents during the whole process. My son nailed his road test, thanks to the awesome instructors & great driving lessons. Their prices were very reasonable, compared to other local schools. Their knowledge & expertise was worth every penny!!!

This driving school is one of the best!! I used them for my daughter and now my son they made them be at ease during the whole process. I highly recommend them to my anyone looking. He explained what is needed for mva and sent a follow up email just in case, Top notch instructors as well as the owner. Best part they are flexible !

Chrissy was just wonderful! She was very clear and specific, explaining the importance of each driving technique to make sure I drove safely, and without confusion. She was also very patient and encouraging throughout the entire process of instruction, making her very effective in getting rid of the raging nerves that were previously in the way of my focus and execution. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Needless to say, I passed with flying colors in my road test! Thank you so much!!!

Do not use this school-they picked my daughter up 30 minutes late for her 'practice' session before her driving test. They showed up with another 17 year old who was also going to be practicing (when I paid for a one-on-one) and claimed they left a message for me the night before!

Five years ago, when our son Andrew got his permit, we contacted Gary Thomson’s Driving School for his driving lessons and road test preparation. We were extremely impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and the way they guided us through all of the paperwork and requirements with the state. Andrew had a great experience from start to finish.

My son was afraid to drive. He had anxiety about it, but I needed him to get his license to drive himself to school and to go see his friends, that live out of the area. Chrissy was just wonderful! She was very clear and specific, explaining the importance of each driving technique to make sure I drove safely, and without confusion. She was also very patient and encouraging throughout the entire process of instruction, making her very effective in getting rid of the raging nerves that were previously in the way of my focus and execution. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Needless to say, I passed with flying colors in my road test! Thank you so much!!!
