We had an amazing experience with Atlantic Driving School! From the very first road lessons to the refresher course on my son’s 17th birthday right before his test, everything was handled perfectly. The entire process was smooth, organized, and clearly centered around the student’s success and confidence. What really stood out was how much the instructors genuinely care. They teach and guide young drivers as if they were their own, which made such a difference in my son’s comfort level behind the wheel. A special thank you to Craig and Karen- he absolutely loved learning from both of them. They were patient, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable. I truly cannot recommend Atlantic Driving School enough for drivers of any age. The refresher course on the day of the test was especially valuable and gave my son the extra boost of confidence he needed. My daughter just finished up her 6 hours and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience from start to finish. From the owners, Marion and Paul, to the office staff, to her driving instructor Melinda, it was all wonderful. My daughter felt comfortable and taken care of the entire time. They were all extremely informative and kind and handled all the paperwork. We left with all our questions answered and our minds at ease. When I passed my written test, I knew that I was going to be nervous about driving. I was looking for a driving school that could teach me defensive driving. While looking for driving schools, I came across this one. I noticed that they advertised cars that could be controlled by the instructor if something went wrong, which is something I was looking for to ease my anxiety. The instructor I had was named Marian. She was extremely patient and very kind. Marian taught me defensive driving techniques, and what would be on my driving test. The defensive driving lesson was very helpful, and I have avoided a few accidents with the techniques she taught me. I highly recommend this driving school to anyone in the Ocean County area of New Jersey, and I’d like to personally thank Marian for being an incredible teacher! -Brenden Read Less

I cannot be anymore grateful to Marian, she's the owner of this great driving school. I moved from NYC to ocean county in May and I didn't know how to drive correctly. I failed my road test twice and I felt terrible. I made an appointment and Marian was my instructor, she is such a kind and sweet woman. She boosted my self confidence and taught me everything I needed to know about driving. She didn't give up on me! All I kept hearing was her calm, and sweet voice in my head while taking the road test. She taught me the rules of the road, road signs, and especially how to calm your anxiety while driving. I want to write a review as a thank you to Atlantic Driving School for teaching my daughter to drive. She was anxious, worried and nervous. The owner took this seriously and agreed to instruct her herself. Mrs McMahan was amazing. Her attention to road safety, along with her easy going nature made my daughter relax and learn. My son also had a positive experience with he did his 6 hours with them. Pat Walker was his instructor, he was great too. My daughters instructor was fired and they were left on the side of the road with no ride home!  I eventually learned that the driving school had experienced the loss of two totaled cars.  Seems my daughter was in the car slightly past operating hours so they were denied a ride home and the instructor was fired on the spot.This wasn't the cheapest driving school either so definitely pass on this one.The owner called me 3 times today and my daughter once at school regarding changing my review of her business.   Here is my revision... If you don't like the review then behave more professionally towards your paying clients, especially when they are minors! Read Less
