Good Afternoon, via your company I successfully passed my driver exam today! I only had 1hr and 30min practice with Ms. Mary and she taught me more than i've learned at any other driving school. She was extremely patient, kind and respectful. The techniques she taught me will never be forgotten. She also made sure that every step of the way she wasn't just telling me what to do, but giving explanations of what could happen if I didn't do things such as look at my blind spots and such. 10/10 Would recommend Mary! We absolutely loved the whole experience! From the initial call to the actual driving test. They were very detailed and informative, no surprises. My daughter had Miss. My daughter used the school for 3 lessons and 2 retakes of her test. The DMV Representative each time said she was instructed incorrectly on parking. Her coordination was off and she did not pass. At First I thought it was my daughter, however for 2 reps' to say the same thing and she had the same instructor: Cecelia. I took her out everyday as suggested by the owner for at least 15 minutes, it was not her driving. I have a large car so left the parking solely to the school; however the failed to properly teach her according to DMV. Not only did the school take almost $600 out of our pockets, but they are unresponsive, rarely call back or follow up and I am appalled. How dumb do you have to be to hire these guys to learn how to drive? Pretty dumb, I'd imagine, judging from my experience on Friday afternoon, March 21, 2014.I watched as one of its cars, a champagne-colored sedan, a small Nissan, I think, try one risky move after another in the course of a minute. First, at the intersection of Shunpike and Mountain, in Springfield, I watched as this car cut off a bunch of others at the light. Then at Mountain and Hillside, I watched as it tried to make a right-hand turn from the center column, cutting off another bunch of cars. At first, I thought, ha, maybe a precocious, rambunctious driving student. After all, the car had a white plastic "Don Tre driving school" sign on its roof. But no, some pudgy greybeard was at the wheel. There was no one else in the car. Then I thought, maybe he was in a rush for something. Maybe he was just letting out some aggression built up over a previous student. But still, that's no excuse to drive this way.So I say this: If a teacher or employee for Don Tre is willing to drive like this when his car clearly identifies it as belonging to a driving school, how careful do you think they're going to be when they have your precious kid -- or you -- in the car? I hate crazy, erratic drivers. If the teacher drives this badly, do you really want to be enrolling in his school?I leave this here for the benefit of not only the Yelp audience, but the owners of Don Tre as well. I hope to god that was just a wayward employee, just a bad hire, and you get rid of the guy. If it is an owner, well, you should be ashamed of yourselves. I gave Dontre Professional Driving School as a gift to my niece for her birthday. Peter was her instructor she raved about him and his teaching techniques. She took her test and passed it! The examiner told her she was the only one who had passed that day out of the eight people he tested. Dontre Professional Driving School without a doubt are the best, they know what they're doing.
