I scheduled a driving lesson with this school, but later decided to cancel it.
I called multiple times to cancel my lesson, but no one answered. I was also unable to leave a voicemail because the voicemail was unavailable.
I also found that this driving school is not listed as a currently DMV-approved driving school on the New York State DMV website. Because of my experience, I decided not to take lessons here.
I hope they improve their communication with customers.

Extremely unprofessional; I booked a 4 lesson class with them; first time driver I’ve never practiced driving I’ve explained to my instructor that I’ve never been I. The driver seat of a car and don’t know about about driver i.e the brake or gas I have no experience what so ever on my first lesson she told me to go to the driver seat with no explanation told me to driver the car I explained to her I have no idea what to do after a while we started moving instead of explaining or guiding me she kept yelling at me. Even tho I’m inexperienced in the field with her guidance I ended up on central Ave it was pretty busy and hectic I thank god I survived that afternoon lesson the very next day I called to change my instructor; I showed up the next time and they sent me the same instructor how ever she didn’t recognize me and when I got in the car it was the same yelling as previously; saying I should’ve known this by now. I never went back for any more lessons. I do not recommend it to anyone; it was a terrible experience made me never want to go on the road again.

The first 4 lesson I took went smootly but on the day of my test a teacher I didn't know came late to pick me up and told me with in minutes of driving with him he told me I wasn't going to pass the test he convinced me not to take it that day and gave me. He gave me his personal nber and honesty made me very uncomfortable.

Charles from learn to drive school was the best driving teacher I have ever had and he did a job so well done I passed my road test the first time around. I did not have direct access to a car so that's why I decided to take lessons. Charles was my teacher each and every time. He spoke in a way that really made me listen and he was able to drill the most important rules of the road in my head.

I highly recommend Mimi. She is the best driving instructor I have had since I started learning how to drive as a teenager. Her 5 hour course is amazing. Mimi is extremely patient with all her students, my first lesson I was a nervous wreck...we pulled over and she calmed me down...my next 2 lessons were much better. For my road test she picked me up and kept me calm when I was a nervous cat, we had a quick practice....and I passed my test...Mimi was so proud. If you go to this driving school...get Mimi...you won't regret it.

behind the wheel training was not that effective as 2 female instructors I had were prophetesses of doom instead of giving me constructive guidance (not productive being told constantly you'll be in a crash when trying to focus on practicing).
I do, however, highly recommend them for 5hr class. This school offers more convenient weekend and weeknight offerings than other local schools at convenient Lark st. location not far from Central Ave.

Very rude and unprofessional. Had to stand outside in the cold for 15min before instructor arrived at 345pm when class started at 4pm. When called to complain about how rude the instructor was owner was even more rude, hung the the phone up. HORRIBLE!!!!

I highly recommend going here for your 5hr! Mimi was professional, straight to the point, gave great driving advice and highlighted important points to know about taking your road test. Also she emphasized the importance of not drinking and driving or texting and driving. I was very satisfied at her real life point of view, no bs attitude and demeanor! It inspired me to get a lesson (or maybe 2) to get me fully prepared for my road test! I have full confidence that I will pass my road test with the insights I have gained from Mimi! Thank you!!! A++++ experience

Took the 5 hour and the lady (Mimi) teaching it talked constant irrelevant crap about her family and friends and political opinions. During the course of the class she managed to infer that men are better at math than women, assumed 3 Asian students were Chinese (they were not) and twice asked if they knew each other and referred laughingly to "smacking" her children and jokingly threatened to smack us. I didn't learn a lot as she talked through every video.
I later tried to do a driving lesson with them. I called at 8am to confirm the appointment but they didn't show up. When I called to ask about it the lady on the phone told me i must have scheduled it at a different time and I felt she was rude despite that fact that she had only two hours earlier confirmed my appointment.
I don't usually write reviews but this is ridiculousssssssss.

I would highly recommend Ronnie to anyone who is looking to pass they road test on they first shot he is patient and truly wants u not only to pass but also learn to drive safe

I scheduled a driving lesson with this school, but later decided to cancel it.
I called multiple times to cancel my lesson, but no one answered. I was also unable to leave a voicemail because the voicemail was unavailable.
I also found that this driving school is not listed as a currently DMV-approved driving school on the New York State DMV website. Because of my experience, I decided not to take lessons here.

Charles from learn to drive school was the best driving teacher I have ever had and he did a job so well done I passed my road test the first time around. I did not have direct access to a car so that's why I decided to take lessons. Charles was my teacher each and every time. He spoke in a way that really made me listen and he was able to drill the most important rules of the road in my head.

I highly recommend Mimi. She is the best driving instructor I have had since I started learning how to drive as a teenager. Her 5 hour course is amazing. Mimi is extremely patient with all her students, my first lesson I was a nervous wreck...we pulled over and she calmed me down...my next 2 lessons were much better. Very rude and unprofessional. Had to stand outside in the cold for 15min before instructor arrived at 345pm when class started at 4pm. When called to complain about how rude the instructor was owner was even more rude, hung the the phone up. HORRIBLE!!!!
