Terrible experience. I paid for a lesson right before my road test, and instead of teaching me, the instructor spent the entire time harassing and yelling at me. From the second I got in the car, he was already upset and aggressive. No instruction, no guidance—just constant criticism. During my paid lesson, he used another student to demonstrate parking instead of teaching me, and kept pointing out problems that weren’t even real. It felt like he was trying to prove I couldn’t drive instead of helping me improve. At the same time, he was scrolling on his phone while loud music was playing in the car. Completely unprofessional and distracting. He kept telling me I was going to fail right before the test. Then right before the road test, he told me I would have to pay $4,000 if there was any damage to the car. Afterward, I called the office to report it, and they didn’t want to listen or help at all. I went into my test stressed and failed early. No damage happened. Very unprofessional experience from start to finish. I would not recommend this school. Read Less

Overall, great experience! I went from having never driven before, to passing the road test on my first try after 2-3 weeks of lessons. My instructor, Leo, was friendly, an excellent teacher, a highly skilled driver, and definitely knows his way around the road, driving, and the actual road test itself. He is accepting of students at any skill level, and always answers every question I ask with plenty of depth and detail. He always made sure I was safe on the road, is excellent at giving instructions to get out of tricky or unfamiliar situations, and tries to turn everything into a learning experience. Additionally, scheduling lessons was very painless, as they are very communicative through text and call. The pricing and packages are flexible and accommodating. If you live in the area around the school or the roads where they teach you (around Bath Beach and Dyker Heights for me), the instructor picks you up and drops you off at the beginning and end of every lesson. Coming from someone who started with zero driving experience, the journey was definitely easy, but what I learned along the way was very helpful and valuable. If you want to drive and/or pass the test, you have to be serious, you have to know the rules of the road, you have to be committed, and most importantly, you have to be confident and believe in yourself. I took a package of 10 lessons with 2 road test appointments. I had Ray as an instructor and throughout the lessons he made me feel comfortable behind the wheel and was extremely patient. He gave positive comments every time and made sure I had confidence. Ray’s parking technique is the way to go! This is my first review on Yelp, but everyone needs to know how great Ray is! I had ZERO driving experience prior to my lessons with Ray. I was sooooo nervous that I almost talked myself out of taking the classes. Ray is very very calm, personable, cool and friendly which makes him such an exceptional instructor. He teaches me exactly what examiners are looking for during the road test. I was taught EVERYTHING I needed to know. He tries his best to ease my nerve, we would talk about random things in life, it makes me relax that I almost forget I'm a newbie driver. Dana is also a nice lady, she is very accommodating when it comes to scheduling my lessons and test for me. This has to be the best driving school in Brooklyn, I'm so glad I've chosen them. Living in a neighborhood abundant of driving schools, I had difficulty choosing one that would suit my hectic schedule. Based on a friend's recommendation, I decided to enroll in a few classes with Ray.  Their school offers daily lessons so I was able to schedule my classes according to my schedule. Ray was extremely attentive and made sure I develop the proper techniques before taking my road test. He patiently focused on all my weaknesses until I was able to drive without hesitation.
