Bell's Auto Driving was wonderful. They were professional and were able to teach my 17 year old daughter well enough to have her obtain her driver's license on her 1st attempt. Although they had a lesson plan for her, they worked with my requests for specific lessons (like driving on the highway, traffic circles). They were quick to respond to my request for lessons, sent out lesson reminders, worked with my schedule and were very willing to meet me at locations more convenient for us. Sal was the best instructor for my daughter, with only the one lesson and a lesson before the road test he made her driving 10x better. My son had private lessons with Mr. Tice. Bell's auto would call me the day before every lesson and send reminder emails. They were very professional. Mr. Tice was always on time and made my son feel at ease. He taught him the rules of the road and gave him the confidence he needed to pass his road test. Bought $1000 worth of lessons from them over the course of a year with multiple packages. With that type of consumer confidence, I ended up completely underwhelmed. When you purchase package online, you are given promise that someone will call you to schedule lessons within 24-48 hours. I had to call them more often than not days later, with excuse that they coordinate so many high school group lessons. My driving instructor was competent, but I noticed we didn't always go the full 45min or 60min timeframe. Also didn't help that 3 separate times we stopped for him to take bathroom/coffee breaks during my slotted time. I did not get those minutes added back into my driving time on the road. cumulatively, I counted 25min of lost time that would have meant a lot as I trusted Bell's as one of the largest and oldest schools here. Bell's rests on their legacy and its popularity, and its students' progress means nothing. Besides they have contracts with so many high schools, they really don't take adult customers as priority too. Read Less

I'm glad I found Bell's driving school and Mr. Wagner he's the best! he was calm and patient with me and helped me gain my confidence in driving. This driving school is the best! They work with you until you are extremely comfortable with maneuvering a car. I failed my road test two times because of bad anxiety, and my hearing loss. I am happy to announce that today I had passed. Special thank yous to Mr. Price (David) for taking his time with me, and for giving me tips on how to pass it the third time. And of course speaking loud enough so I could hear him. Driving instructors will be tough on you (not too tough), but that's because they want you to pass. I highly recommend Bell's. Read Less

Was not happy at all. They sent another instructor the day of my daughters road test. He was late because he was stuck in traffic and then blared the horn outside as soon as he arrived. She ran out to the car. He said go ahead, we live on a dead end street so she put the car in drive to make a three point turn and he saud STOP! What are you doing! He said you should just back into your own driveway. By then she was flustered and turned her wheels the wrong way. He said do... you even know how to drive? Mind you we took 6 yes SIX lessons from Bells over three months. He gave her the lesson criticizing her the whole time. In fact giving her contradictory instructions to the other instructors she had previously. He said your turns are too tight take them wider. By the time she took her test she was upset and confused. The tester told her she was making her turns too wide.After the test he didn't speak to her or my husband just let her leave. Mind you this was an extra $110 on top of the lessons. Bells NEVER even called to ask if they could provide any follow up lessons or see if she wanted to reschedule. No followup or customer service what so ever! My husband and I worked with her all week. We took her 2nd test today and the tester said she was doing her 2nd stops not far enough into the intersection. That she couldn't anticipate potential hazards. He was kind enough to fully explain and draw her a picture. He said everything else was perfect.
