Took lessons with them and passed the road test but they have scheduling problems. They had to take me to the road test under a second instructor because my teacher was already booked for a lesson on my road test day. Also the car that I took my road test in the brakes sounded so bad I could almost guarantee it needed new calipers / rotors and it also had stiff power steering.
Also all of my lessons were on local roads only once did I go on a more than 2 lane road barring turning lanes and it was for a second at that, and keep in mind I took like 13 lessons
They said I would need a drivers license before teaching the expressway / parkway.
Make sure you get a package because they schedule and take you to your road test.

I don't recall the name of the instructor - I want to say Steve - but it was a great experience. Personable to everyone in the car, took the time to explain things, never raised his voice or rushed anyone. Myself and 2 of the kids I was with (3 of 4 total) passed road tests on the first try. Definitely recommend.

Used Twin County Driving School in East Northport and I have nothing but great things to say about them! My driving instructor was Tom Aveni. I was able to pass my road on my first try thanks to him!! He was always available when I need to schedule my driving lessons and was able to work with me and my busy schedule. Cannot recommend Twin County enough. Ask for Tom when you go there - you won’t regret it!!

I took my first lesson back in April. I had Mitch as my instructor. He is absolutely fantastic. He is super calm especially while I was freaking out. He took his time to explain everything thoroughly....
I took my first lesson back in April. I had Mitch as my instructor. He is absolutely fantastic. He is super calm especially while I was freaking out. He took his time to explain everything thoroughly. I looked forward to my lessons with him. Definitely recommend him, especially if you are a scared driver. I went from being petrified to put my foot on the gas to passing my road test.

I was very nervous to teach my daughter to drive and was making her more nervous so I called twin county driving school. The women in the phone was so helpful. They gave me the driving instructor Mitch. He was such a great instructor my daughter loved him. He was so calm, and made her feel comfortable driving. She was so nervous to learn but now feels very comfortable. He took to her road test and she passed 1st time. I definitely recommend Mitch

My Daughter was so so nervous about starting to drive. Her instructor was so patient and understanding with her. She is now licensed and confident and I am at ease with her being out there driving as well ,knowing she has the skills to deal with situations of daily driving. The staff at Twin County driving school should also be mentioned here. They are pros and customer service and satisfaction is what they are about....I am totally happy with this school and I can see why they have been around for so many years... Thank you Twin County...

Took lessons with them and passed the road test but they have scheduling problems. They had to take me to the road test under a second instructor because my teacher was already booked for a lesson on my road test day. I was very nervous to teach my daughter to drive and was making her more nervous so I called twin county driving school. The women in the phone was so helpful. They gave me the driving instructor Mitch. He was such a great instructor my daughter loved him. He was so calm, and made her feel comfortable driving.
