My daughter passed her road test on her first attempt, and we couldn't be happier with our experience at Level Up Driving School.
A special thank you to Yoseph for his excellent instruction. He was patient, professional, knowledgeable, and encouraging throughout the entire process. He helped my daughter gain confidence behind the wheel and prepared her well for the road test.
His clear guidance, attention to detail, and calm teaching style made a big difference. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and ensured she was comfortable and ready for test day.
I highly recommend Level Up Driving School, especially Yoseph, to anyone looking for a driving instructor who genuinely cares about his students' success. Thank you for helping my daughter achieve this important milestone!

I’m writing this review even before getting my driving test results because, honestly, whether I pass or fail, I genuinely believe this is the best driving school around.
My instructor was Yoseph, and he has been incredibly patient, caring, funny, and encouraging throughout the entire process. He helped remove so much of the fear and anxiety I had around driving.
I moved from the UK two years ago and never really needed to drive while living in London. Public transportation is excellent there, and since I lived in Central London, owning a car was never necessary. On top of that, I’ve never been a huge fan of driving in general. I had taken lessons back in college, but unfortunately, those experiences actually made me even more nervous about driving.
Fast forward to about a month ago, when I found Level Up Driving School and started lessons with Yoseph. From the very beginning, the process was completely hassle-free. The team was open, honest, and clear about everything, which I really appreciated.
Yoseph was patient during every lesson and always gave constructive feedback. He helped me improve my parallel parking tremendously and shared so many useful driving tips that boosted both my skills and my confidence behind the wheel.
What I appreciated most was that he really paid attention to my individual weaknesses and tailored each lesson to work on them. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, he found ways to target the areas I struggled with and helped me improve them step by step with every lesson.
I’m so happy with my experience and would recommend Level Up Driving School to anyone and everyone looking to learn how to drive or build confidence on the road.
Hands down the best driving school in Hicksville!

I 100% recommend Level Up Driving school! My driving instructor was Yoseph. He was so helpful with teaching me how to drive. He was very helpful with teaching me exactly what I needed to do to passed the test and what I needed to correct. He was able to explain things in a way that made driving a lot simpler. Thanks to him I finally passed after failing to do so with other driving schools. He is the best and very accommodating . If you’re looking for any driving school this is the one for you!

Buyer Beware if you or your child are under 18!! Even though Yoseph is a very nice Man he runs a misleading business! If you get lessons and 5 hour class for your son/daughter you CAN NOT HAVE A FULL LICENCE AT 17 EVEN IF YOU PASS ROAD TEST!!! This school only give out MV 278 certificates and to drive at age 17 NYS requires a MV 285 certificate. Level Up does not give you MV 285. You can only get this at high school or college course. No where on website does it say this . Not once was it told to me before I spent the $400. They asked me his age. No where was my son told when Yoseph tought my son for 10 hours alone in the car nor in the classroom. Yoseph was a good instructor and my son passed road test but unless we spend more money and enroll him in a MV 285 class he cant get full NYS licence until he is 18! Shame on Yoseph for not explaining this to us or on his website, shame on us for being so naive! Yoseph, your a nice man... PLEASE CHANGE YOUR WEBSITE AND BE VERY CLEAR FROM NOW ON.

I had a horrible experience with another driving school and was desperate. I did my due diligence and found Level Up on google they had very impressive ratings. Yosef is an excellent instructor personable, patient and precise on all the rules of the road and how to not only pass your driving test but to feel more comfortable and confident in your driving. I paid for 10 lessons and passed my driving test He had six students that day take their driving test.....they all passed. Thank you Level Up and much gratitude and thanks to Yosef as well. If you are looking for a reputable driving school that gets the job done look no further.

I decided to give this driving school a try because of all the raving reviews I had read. They were all right. Yoseph is excellent at what he does. I was a complete newbie and very nervous driving at first, but he gave me the calm and confidence I needed. He worked with me for scheduling the lessons and the road test. I had a total of 15 lessons and passed the test on my first try. Yoseph taught me all the skills I needed; even when I made or almost made what could have been a dangerous mistake, he was calm and patient and understanding - that way, I was able to learn from errors rather than be too scared to drive afterwards. I was able to learn how to drive well and safely with Yoseph.He also actually made the 5 hour pre licensing class very interesting and engaging. I enjoyed learning from him. Would highly recommend Level Up driving school!

Before this, I had irrational fear of driving, but I had to get my license. I’ve been to other driving schools where I felt like I wasn’t learning anything. Luckily, I found about Level Up Driving School on Yelp. It had so many great reviews so I figured I’d try it.
This is has hands down been the BEST experience of my life. Yoseph is very attentive, and he makes you feel comfortable behind the wheel. I got the 10 lesson package, and took my test about a month and a half after I started with him. I passed on the first try and I’m so grateful that I came here!

I live in East Meadow and found this school on google. I took my five hour class and was impressed with the comprehensible content of the course. I signed up for driving classes with them as well and was happy that they were able to accommodate me on Saturdays and post work some weekdays. Being a rookie and a lost soul, Mr. Makkawi was very patient with me and taught me well. I took a total of 8 driving classes and at the end of them felt prepared to go for the road test. To my surprise I nailed it and passed in the first go. My training, scheduling the road test and the actual test all went very smoothly. I thank Level up for that! Cheers

I scheduled my classes and training with Youssef because of all the great reviews from google and yelp and I was not disappointed. Despite the fact his location was almost 30 min drive from my house, I wanted to have a patient and professional instructor so i can pass my test. Youssef was always on time, flexible with appointments and offers a great service for a good price. I just passed my road test from the first try and now a proud owner of NYS DL.

EXCELLENT!! I highly recommend this driving school. Level Up driving school has great and affordable prices. I was always scared to drive but Mr. Yoseph gave me the confidence I needed since the first day. He is an amazing instructor and human being. He teaches you everything you need to know to be a safe driver and pass the road test with flying colors! All the team is very professional and easy to contact. I owe my success to my instructor Brother Yusuf and would highly recommend him. He is a wonderful instructor, who helped me with fine points to keep in my mind not only during the test but also while driving generally. I am very happy for the way he trained me to drive safely and also get my licence.....

The training instructor yoseph is very patient and brings up confidence in his students to drive. He covers everything that could be expected on the day of road test and everything you would need after you pass the road test. He analyses what our driving lacks in the first class itself and focuses on them in the following classes.
I would definitely recommend him for driving lessons.

This driving school is honestly AMAZING. The instructor is so sweet and doesn't yell at you when you mess up. He is patient and an amazing teacher. I did the ten lesson package and it included the car for the road test, the five hour pre-licencing course. pick up and drop offs at your home! its really convenient for students or people without transportation. I got my license on the first try and have been driving for 6 months now and am just so comfortable on the road. I did a 5 hour road trip upstate in a snow storm, and have driven on the cross Bronx express way during rush hour. lol Thank you Yoseph for being the best teacher ever!!

This is a new school and I took a chance on it because it was close to home and I am so glad I did! This driving school is one of a kind. The owner is truly a sweetheart and cares for you like you are his own child. He actually makes you enjoy the classes, he's funny, sweet and smart! I would def recommend this school to anyone! You would not regret it!

My daughter passed her road test on her first attempt, and we couldn't be happier with our experience at Level Up Driving School.
A special thank you to Yoseph for his excellent instruction. He was patient, professional, knowledgeable, and encouraging throughout the entire process. He helped my daughter gain confidence behind the wheel and prepared her well for the road test.

I decided to give this driving school a try because of all the raving reviews I had read. They were all right. Yoseph is excellent at what he does. I was a complete newbie and very nervous driving at first, but he gave me the calm and confidence I needed. He worked with me for scheduling the lessons and the road test. I had a total of 15 lessons and passed the test on my first try. Yoseph taught me all the skills I needed; even when I made or almost made what could have been a dangerous mistake, he was calm and patient and understanding - that way, I was able to learn from errors rather than be too scared to drive afterwards. I was able to learn how to drive well and safely with Yoseph.He also actually made the 5 hour pre licensing class very interesting and engaging. I enjoyed learning from him. Would highly recommend Level Up driving school!

Before this, I had irrational fear of driving, but I had to get my license. I’ve been to other driving schools where I felt like I wasn’t learning anything. Luckily, I found about Level Up Driving School on Yelp. It had so many great reviews so I figured I’d try it.
This is has hands down been the BEST experience of my life. Yoseph is very attentive, and he makes you feel comfortable behind the wheel. I got the 10 lesson package, and took my test about a month and a half after I started with him. I passed on the first try and I’m so grateful that I came here!

I live in East Meadow and found this school on google. I took my five hour class and was impressed with the comprehensible content of the course. I signed up for driving classes with them as well and was happy that they were able to accommodate me on Saturdays and post work some weekdays. Being a rookie and a lost soul, Mr. Makkawi was very patient with me and taught me well. I took a total of 8 driving classes and at the end of them felt prepared to go for the road test. To my surprise I nailed it and passed in the first go. My training, scheduling the road test and the actual test all went very smoothly. I thank Level up for that! Cheers

I scheduled my classes and training with Youssef because of all the great reviews from google and yelp and I was not disappointed. Despite the fact his location was almost 30 min drive from my house, I wanted to have a patient and professional instructor so i can pass my test. Youssef was always on time, flexible with appointments and offers a great service for a good price. I just passed my road test from the first try and now a proud owner of NYS DL.

EXCELLENT!! I highly recommend this driving school. Level Up driving school has great and affordable prices. I was always scared to drive but Mr. Yoseph gave me the confidence I needed since the first day. He is an amazing instructor and human being. He teaches you everything you need to know to be a safe driver and pass the road test with flying colors! All the team is very professional and easy to contact. They also worked with my busy schedule and were able to get the times I wanted. Thanks to them I passed my driving test on the first time. Thank you for the great service!!

I owe my success to my instructor Brother Yusuf and would highly recommend him. He is a wonderful instructor, who helped me with fine points to keep in my mind not only during the test but also while driving generally. I am very happy for the way he trained me to drive safely and also get my licence.....

Yoseph is a great instructor! Very attentive to what each student needs and very patient. Very nice and punctual. Never yelled at me or made me feel uncomfortable. Always explained things clearly and made sure I understood what I was doing wrong and how to correct myself. Highly recommended for any new drivers of all ages!

The training instructor yoseph is very patient and brings up confidence in his students to drive. He covers everything that could be expected on the day of road test and everything you would need after you pass the road test. He analyses what our driving lacks in the first class itself and focuses on them in the following classes.
I would definitely recommend him for driving lessons.

This driving school is honestly AMAZING. The instructor is so sweet and doesn't yell at you when you mess up. He is patient and an amazing teacher. I did the ten lesson package and it included the car for the road test, the five hour pre-licencing course. pick up and drop offs at your home! its really convenient for students or people without transportation. I got my license on the first try and have been driving for 6 months now and am just so comfortable on the road. I did a 5 hour road trip upstate in a snow storm, and have driven on the cross Bronx express way during rush hour. lol Thank you Yoseph for being the best teacher ever!!

This is a new school and I took a chance on it because it was close to home and I am so glad I did! This driving school is one of a kind. The owner is truly a sweetheart and cares for you like you are his own child. He actually makes you enjoy the classes, he's funny, sweet and smart! I would def recommend this school to anyone! You would not regret it!
