Passed my driving test on my first try after just a few lessons with them! My experience with them has been extremely positive, and I’m really glad I chose them as my driving school. I was nervous about driving before I started, but their lessons made everything feel much more manageable and helped me build confidence quickly. I still remember I was really nervous during my first lesson, and Chance reassured me not to worry because as the instructor he could take control of the vehicle at any time if needed, which indeed made me feel more at ease. I’ve had lessons with several instructors (Chance, Lou, John, and Alex), and all of them were excellent!! They are patient, highly knowledgeable about the driving test requirements and rules, and consistently supportive throughout the learning process. You can truly tell they want you to succeed. Their customer service is also great. I had a few calls with them regarding test scheduling and my pre-licensing certificate, and every time my call was answered promptly and my questions were handled efficiently. After trying many driving schools, Learnwell has been such a positive experience, and I am sad to no longer need them. Learnwell helped me pass on my first try and has been nothing but supportive. Every teacher has become a friend, and they are excited to watch you succeed. Not only is the staff incredibly nice and helpful, but they also schedule the test for you and deal with the DMV. They make it incredibly easy to learn how to drive and get a lesson, and the customer service is the best I've seen. I truthfully could not recommend them more. Read Less

Instructors are very well experienced and very nice. You will never have to worry about them being mean to you. Demand is a bit high tho, so you should try to schedule driving lessons ahead. I would also recommend getting your pre-licensing course done here, since it's not one of those boring classes but is interesting and useful. My kid is a first time driver. We went on the weekend for a private lesson. We told the instructor it was the first time behind the wheel. He proceeded to not give any instruction for 50 minutes. The streets are crazy busy in Ithaca, stressful for the most experienced drivers, during busy times. He made my kid drive on the small busy streets, lots of cars, and even went on a windy narrow back road and basically said if another car comes, you're gonna have to figure it out. We chose a driving school for a driving LESSON, not a free-for-all. I could have done that for free! We won't be going back to this school and I definitely do NOT recommend using them for a new driver. Read Less

I took around 10 lessons from August to October. I had previously taken one with Able2 and didn't enjoy it - felt rushed. The instructors are very kind and patient. Some cars in their fleet are better than others but, for the most part, they are all of quality. Be very clear about scheduling and don't be nit-picky and you'll be fine. Went for one lesson. They showed up a few minutes late. The instructor was friendly, and when he was not talking on his cell phone he was very helpful. Only thing is, he was talking on his cell phone for probably half the lesson, if not more. Second lesson, they showed up 10 minutes late. I decided to stop going at that point. Read Less

The driving lessons were very useful. The instructor is incredibly experienced and encourages intuitive learning and provides a very encouraging congenial atmosphere. For example, during the parallel parking exercise he pointed out that one can follow a set rule, but in reality one needs to adjust according to the situation. This helped me trust my own judgement of the extent of the car, the position of the curb and the alignment with the car in front of me. Read Less
