Never having to see or deal with Lee Weaver again is truly the best diversion of them all. Let me preface this by saying I understand she has to follow state policy and I respect not wanting to let students take advantage. I do firmly believe people will take what they want from the class. The outside instructors can be helpful resources. I am thankful to be sober for four years. Unfortunately, many of her students need recovery, too. I know that is their responsibility. My problem is, I truly believe Lee goes OUT OF HER WAY to punish people and put them down, when they already had a sentencing for that. Notice all the reviews about her not returning calls or emails, being difficult or not communicating effectively. She feels entitled to act like this and wants to make it difficult. This is deterring people. I personally heard her make disparaging and ignorant comments about people in recovery and people with struggles separate from her program. Being unremarkable is one thing; being apathetic is another. I would advise everyone not to give her an excuse to abuse her power over you. Get the treatment evaluation BEFORE you start and if you have to go through, immediately let her know you completed. Document every call. She will lie to fit her own narrative. Read Less

Don't bother calling or emailing because she will never answer you. I honestly don't even know why she has an email or phone number. She doesn't actually give you any information that isn't common knowledge or helps you understand what your conditional allows you to do, so you have to figure it out yourself. You only use the book two or three times, and she gives you 20 minutes to read two short pages to be talked about for 1 minute before giving you another 20 minutes to again only read 2 pages. She basically gets paid to sip tim Hortons coffee and have you sit there for 2 hrs. It's unfortunate that her class is the only one available for a lot of people. Read Less
