I took the 5 hour class. The videos and the practice test were really helpful. The instructor also showed interest which didn't make the class boring. The class was overall great and I would recommend to anyone who's willing to learn how to drive. Read Less

Overall my teacher Anthony hands down the best teacher passed on my first try.He tells it how it is and definitely is a great teacher. italian dude who gave the five hour class is great as well. But the overall office is a bit unprofessional they rarely answer their calls and always have you on hold. other than that the place is fine Read Less

Not into this place...at all. I had my first lesson with the owner Terry and he later me texted me asked to go to dinner. That left a bad taste in my mouth-not professional. For this reason, I stayed away from this company and didn't finish my package. I finally decided to finish my package a year later but they would not let me. Folks please read the fine print because packages only last 6months-I should've read that carefully because they would NOT me to use remaining lessons (which I paid for) when I called after 6months. I took a 5 hour class here. The instructor was great. He brought his personality to the job which made the class more interesting. Unfortunately, this was not my first time taking the 5-hour but this was the best one I've taken. Very insightful. I attended the 5 hour class in Baldwin on Sunday, June 28th, and I was honestly impressed. I expected the 5 hour class to be dull and long, but I found that it passed very quickly with the instructor that I had. He managed to keep the class interesting and was able to answer questions quickly and concisely. When one student claimed they were having trouble visualizing his examples, he drew out detailed diagrams for us all, allowing us to really understand what he was explaini...ng to us. It was an extremely interactive class, and really helped solidify my driving knowledge. I would recommend this class to anyone; even those who already have their license. It is an excellent way to learn the rules of the road, and it was presented in such a way that I know I will never forget it. Very knowledgeable professor; I am thankful that I took my class here. I got the Groupon deal for 2 lessons and the 5 hr course. Except for the fact that the course itself takes forever, I learned a lot. The 5 hr class is mandatory for all new drivers. The class went through passages from that dmv book, videos about driving safely and defensively, and a short quiz at the end. Overall I expected the course to be a lot worse, I'll see how the driving lessons are. Read Less

I took the five hour class in 219-05 Merrick Blvd 11413 on Sat 20/2015 at 10AM. Instructor Anthony was extremely funny and very knowledgeable. Though, the lessons were terrifying, because he showed us a lot of accidents and among other things. Nonetheless, they were informative because the whole point of the class was to make us aware of the responsibility driving is. Yes, it was dull. Who wants to sit for five hours to learn about precautions. Though, despite of the tiredness, instructor Anthony kept us active. Ultimately, it was enjoyable. I had a great experience with Access 2 Drive. When I first started out I was nervous but I had a great instructor that helped me ease up and get into my comfort zone. He let me know it was okay to make mistakes and that's what he was there for to help me know what to and not to do. And today I passed my Road test on my 1st try. Thank you Kevin for all your help. I recently took the 5hr class on Saturday the 21st at the Laurelton location. My review to this 5hr class is very simple...it was great! I found it very informative and our instructor gave out some really great tips. Those tips included the rules for the road we learn after we get behind the wheels, the rules that no one bothered to tell us or written in the book. I feel much more prepared for my driving lessons and the videos were really descriptive using real life events and scenarios. I had a great experience, I would definitely recommend it! Read Less

My experience with Access to Drive was wonderful. It was very convenient and affordable and in my area. The people were nice, and were on a timely fashion, i didn't have to wait long for my appointments. My 5hr pre licensing course flew by because the instructor made the class interesting and very detailed, the videos were also in-depth it gave me a better outlook on what to expect. As for my driving experience omg the guy was so down to earth, he took his time with me and showed me the basics. He had me so calm i wasn't nervous at all, i felt so confident behind the wheel and on the road. I can't wait to get my license! Thanks Access, for all your help! Read Less

The instructors during the 5 hour class seemed polite and knowledgeable so I went ahead and booked a driving test and a car with them. And everything went downhill after that. I booked a test which took me a month to find an available date and even then the earliest was a month after. I showed up early as instructed and got stood up and I missed my reservation even though they called to make sure before . While I was there waiting I called the office and no one picks up all three numbers and no answer. Now after all the fiasco they called to and booked me another test and I haven't heard from them I call there office and no answer. The only number that I have is the instructor which I call and he is extremely rude and starts yelling for no reason. These guys are are messed up very lousy management. I could never recommend them to anybody after my experience. Waste of time and money. Even after passing the driving test while with another instructor which was much more polite and insightful. The my whole experience with staff was OK. The whole experience was ruined because of that driving instructor and the office having god knows how many number and only one that works. But still I cant recommend the place after what happened with me, unless the overhaul there management I can't recommend. Read Less

Awful place. Horrible company. Disgusting, rude and obnoxious customer service. You can never get through them and when you do prepare to be on hold for 10 or more min because they have only one secretary working. My driving instructor was 45 min late and came in some old dirty car. I had to wait for him outside in a 25 degree weather because their horrible office was not open. I called 8 times and only got their voicemail. After he finally showed up and saw I had very good experience with driving he decided to just sit and relax. I said a million times that I only had issues with parking.. I literally paid money just to learn how to park but he disregarded my concerns and just told me to drive around. During the whole 45 min he only showed me how to park twice and the rest was pure b.s.. I felt like I just paid money to sit in the car and steer the wheel around. This does not end.. I had an emergency and I was only 24 min late to their 5 hr pre licensing class and they refused to let me in. Mind you, I called them 40 min prior to starting of the class to tell them that I might be a little late. I get a call 15 min after class started from this rude guy telling me this '' you are late, the class started so don't bother showing up because we won't let you in.'' I still went because I was there anyway, he refused to let me in and I asked if I can just re schedule so I won't lose the money. Basically I was told this.. no money back, you will need to pay for another class. This place is horrible. Basically it was okay for their instructor to be almost an hour late but I have to lose money just because I came a little late. It's a 5 hour course! They refused to come to some type of civilized agreement. I will never recommend this place to anybody. Read Less
