Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. I really set my expectations for this school too high. My initial instructor J, was extraordinary! He was very knowledgeable and caring about helping me get accustomed to driving again.
But, my second to last lesson, I was switched to the owner and he was awful. Very impatient, yelling , and tugging the steering wheel while I was driving. I tried to keep calm because I have diagnosed anxiety and not have a panic attack behind the wheel and took me on a small expressway or road without telling me. It severely affected me to drive with him. I tried to tell him but he didn’t care, he said “ he can do what he wants”… yeah never coming back here.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to register either. I think he shadow-banned me so. Yeah. Don’t come here. I would like to thank J though for helping find confidence in myself. But that owner is a piece of work.

My son failed the road test miserably. A score of 70. (You need less than 35 to pass)
We were so blindsided.
We paid for five lessons but he was schedule...
Very sad experience with this driving school.
My son failed the road test miserably. A score of 70. (You need less than 35 to pass)
We were so blindsided.
We paid for five lessons but he was scheduled after only receiving 3.
Bill (one of the instructors) assured me if my son wasn’t ready after his 5th lesson the road test appointment could be moved out, but that never happened.
One of the lessons needed to be canceled because of the snow but instead of moving the road test they still took my son out the next day, then blamed us for him missing most of lesson 4, due to some paperwork they had to pick up from the driving school. (Their fault)
On top of that they treated us horribly, and falsely claimed the paperwork was given to us on a prior date.
Cindy was also incredibly nasty about the whole ordeal when I tried to resolve the issues.
Just horrible. Very disappointed.

I have been calling since July 2025 to try and book driving lessons, and I was told none are available every single time. I came to ask in person and was told to "google more driving schools" by the woman up front. I asked about being put on a waitlist and was told that they "don't take names". Just seems like
these people don't want business.

Called several times before someone returned my call, only to be told lessons are only on Saturdays for students. When I called back to schedule, they no longer do Saturday lessons and only do lessons before 3pm - so if your student is in school, not possible. Was told to call back in the summer??? I guess they only cater to the retired or unemployed.

I had the worst interaction with a driver of the school. I'm a client to one of the business on the same Plaza. After parking, i proceeded to cross the parking lot whilel talking with my paralegal (on speaker). I notice a car coming into the lot and coming towards me so I stopped to give him room. Then I move out to continue to the building, what does he do? He puts the car on reverse while I'm still walking, almost hitting me with the front driver side of the car. I stop and scream becasue he came few feet away from hitting without a care in the world. We exchanged words. My paralegal told me to file a complaint. He didnt even parked in a parking space. So I turn around to go in to Decat driving school and he blocked me from entering saying, "You are going to complaint, you are talking to me, I'm that guy". In my mind, that means he's the owner. I told him again that he almost hit me twice and his response was that I was an ignorant person for using my phone while walking. I'm 5'2" and he came so closed to me as to intimidate me. He was so close that I could see the blue on his eyes and the red of anger in his face. I know there are cameras in the parking lot and I was just walking. This is not the teacher that you want or you'll learn how to injure civilians.

My daughter took a lot of driving lessons here and it didn't help her get her driving license. I don't know it seems like they were just telling her she needed more lessons so they could make money

This company is not good. They take their learners to Wendy's or Dunkin Donuts instead of teaching them how to drive. One instructor was so distracted during a lesson he caused a tragedy.

This company is not good. They take their learners to Wendy's or Dunkin Donuts instead of teaching them how to drive. One instructor was so distracted during a lesson he caused a tragedy.
Anyone that knows that intersection where the tragedy happen would know to pay attention and be sure the driver was not entering the intersection while a vehicle was coming. This is common driver trainer knowledge.

I would give no stars if possible. Pay for 7 lessons for my son. Excellent instructor and always showed up with same car. Day comes for my son to take driving test and instructor shows up with a car with a totally different shifting unit and car that makes noise that you cant hear the person next to you. My son fails because not familiar with shifting. I then call office twice and am told the owner will call back before day end. No call back to following day from a rude man who says not his problem a different car was sent, all that matters is his cars are certified safe. I highly suggest using another school for your beloved teenagers.

Definitely not the best driving school. You will feel ripped off and feel as if you wasted your money. Instructors were not the best, the Secretary was really nice, but overall the experience sucked and felt lacking. One of the instructors was really mean and tough for no reason, while the others acted as if they were there just to get paid rather then teach first time drivers and make them feel comfortable behind the wheel. Only if I could get my money back and invest it in another driving school. If you choose DECAT yen expect a crappy experience.

Great experience here and my son learned alot. Very experienced and knowledgeable drivers and better cars than most schools in this area. And Cindy is a pleasure to speak to on the phone. Would definitely recommend to other nervous parents out there for their children :)

Great school and great experience. Used other driving schools in the area for my son and he's learned the most at Decat. Very organized and better cars than most other schools around here. :)

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. I really set my expectations for this school too high. My initial instructor J, was extraordinary! He was very knowledgeable and caring about helping me get accustomed to driving again.
