Everlina is truly a star—not only an amazing driving instructor but also a life coach, comedian, and an incredibly strong woman.
As someone who struggles with chronic anxiety, her presence has always been so calming and reassuring. She is patient, caring, attentive, and gives the most thorough instructions. She knows exactly when to be gentle and when to be stern, which made me feel both supported and motivated throughout my driving journey.
I still remember our first lesson when I kept slamming on the brakes, and I will never forget the day I finally passed my road test.
Throughout every lesson, she never failed to make me laugh and turned stressful moments into wonderful memories.
She taught me not only how to drive safely and confidently but also how to trust myself. I am incredibly grateful to have had her as my instructor. If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about her students, Everlina is ABSOLUTELY the best.

Everlina was a fantastic driving instructor. She has a wonderful balance between calm and direct while driving with you. She helped me prepare for my road test over our numerous lessons around upper Manhattan. She helped me build confidence on the road which I know is what helped me pass my driving test after a few weeks of lessons. She really takes you from start to finish, even driving you to and from your road test and giving you time to practice before so you feel as prepared as possible. If you want to learn how to navigate driving in the city, Everlina is the right instructor for you.

5 star rating is down to Everlina. Overall a solid professional experience with the school from a test booking and logistics perspective but what made it five star was when I switched from another instructor at the school to Everlina. Everlina was super professional throughout - not just focussed on getting a pass on the test but also on developing good driving habits and safety on the road. Would highly recommend, don’t waste time elsewhere. All the best!

I just passed my road test this week, and I highly recommend Everlina as a driving instructor!
She is professional, patient, organized, and gave me clear, honest feedback that really helped me improve. She helped me become a safer driver, and I now feel much more confident driving on the road.
I’m very grateful for everything she taught me. There will always be a little Everlina voice in my head whenever I’m driving! For anyone who feels anxious about driving, I highly recommend her to help you build confidence and overcome that fear.

I will be another student who highly recommends Everlina as a driving instructor!
Thanks to her, I passed my test!
Learning with her was very interesting, pleasant, and joyful.
She is an incredible woman, and spending time with her is always great.
She is very honest and straightforward, which really helps you understand your needs, weaknesses, and what you need to improve.
This attitude helps students become truly good drivers—not just pass the test.
I still need more practice, but I will always keep in mind and repeat to myself what Everlina taught me on the road.

Amazing experience!
Fern and Alma are absolutely awesome people who helped us to book our driving test and ensured that we had all the right documentation.
On the day of our test we had our instructor Ralph who came on time (actually earlier) to pick us up and guide us before our test. Ralph had a wonderful manner of being calm, kind and also dealt with my panic moments really well.
We both passed our driving test first time round 🙂

More bad than good. While administrator Fern I. is nice, it takes her much too long to figure out scheduling. Other people have scheduling needs, too! My first lesson was with someone who seemed mo...
More bad than good. While administrator Fern I. is nice, it takes her much too long to figure out scheduling. Other people have scheduling needs, too! My first lesson was with someone who seemed more concerned with his affairs than my learning: he actually yanked the wheel over when I didn't want to go from highway to right shoulder so he could take a cell phone call from his lawyer! I insisted on different teacher for next lesson and he was much better. However, today I was waiting for latter to show up and he told me I wasn't on his list! So wasted time. I had originally been planning to take 3 highway driving lessons, but now I am through with this place.
BTW -- Just found a "5" review on another web site saying this place was best driving school and awesome. Guess who wrote it? The very same Fern I! No shame.

I had an amazing experience with Empire Driving School. I had no experience driving, and after a few weeks they had me ready for my road test, which they were able to schedule immediately. The instructors were extremely helpful and flexible with my schedule. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn how to drive!

I recommend the school to anyone looking to get a license or simply trying to brush up on their driving skills. The staff here is incredibly professional and helpful in terms of any aspect of driving.

Everlina is truly a star—not only an amazing driving instructor but also a life coach, comedian, and an incredibly strong woman.
As someone who struggles with chronic anxiety, her presence has always been so calming and reassuring. She is patient, caring, attentive, and gives the most thorough instructions. She knows exactly when to be gentle and when to be stern, which made me feel both supported and motivated throughout my driving journey.

She helped me prepare for my road test over our numerous lessons around upper Manhattan.
