I had instructor Joe and he’s an amazing teacher. He genuinely cares about his students and is very knowledgeable and gives good advice. He makes you feel comfortable behind the wheel and creates a calm and safe environment which helps if you feel nervous about driving. He also walks you through what to expect at the road test site so that you feel prepared and confident. He even helped me get over my driving anxiety! I learned how to drive within 6 weeks and passed my first road test! I took 15 lessons in total. I definitely recommend him.

I had a very interesting experience with this driving school. I’m giving this school a 3/5, because they didn’t provide me with the full service I paid for, due to a technicality that they never made me aware of. Secondly, Instructor Carl did a poor job with the 5 hour class. He fell asleep multiple times, and was also in poor control of the class. This made the class longer than need be. The best part of my experience at this school was being taught by Instructor Joe. Joe is a very detailed, professional, and honest man. He is an amazing instructor, his skills are a 5/5 in my book. Without his help I would’ve never passed my test. He goes in depth with his education process and makes sure that you know everything that will happen on the test ahead of time. He also makes you feel comfortable behind the wheel, and if you converse with him you’ll find out that he’s a really cool guy. If you want to pass your test make sure you ask for Joe, if you shut up and listen to him, I guarantee you’ll pass, even if you’re unsure of yourself.

To all prospective drivers, especially those who are nervous about driving, Carlinda driving School is the best choice. Please ask for Joe, the best driving instructor in Queens New York. He is extremely patient, knowledgeable and trains people how to drive and how pass the driving test.
If you are looking for an instructor who knows just how to get you through the process without breaking a sweat, Joe is the man for the job. I passed first time and I was glad I chose Carlinda Driving School. Well Done Joe and thank you for getting me through this. You are simply the best.

Carlinda was helpful every step of the way to my getting my license. They were extremely helpful in putting together a schedule that worked for me and were easy to communicate with when something needed to change.
Instructor Joe was really helpful and taught me the tips that helped me while staying patient when I was struggling. I would absolutely recommend instructor Joe to anyone planning on learning to drive.

I’m ecstatic! Took my road test on Wednesday and passed on the first attempt! I’m so relieved that it’s over. I’m also grateful to Instructor Joe for his professionalism, patience and thorough expertise. I started with the 10 lesson package; once my 10 lessons were up, Instructor Joe recommended I take a few more because I still needed some work... so I opted to take 5 more lessons and it paid off.
Although very nervous the day of the road test, Mr Joe provided lots of encouragement to me to help boost my confidence. When I returned from the test and revealed that I passed, he was so happy for me.
I’m happy I chose Carlinda and I highly recommend them. Not only is Instructor Joe an excellent teacher, but the front desk staff is also very professional, kind and very proactive in making sure you have everything you need and are well prepared. Another plus.... their prices are fair compared to many of the other driving schools in the area.

I visited this school to commence the process of learning to drive and to receive my NY Drivers licence over a month ago. The receptionist was courteous and helpful in explaining the packages offered, payment was easy and done very professionally. The 5 hours class was well executed by Mr Johnson. In addition the practical driving sessions were professionally executed and done in a manner that supported my quest to becoming a licensed driver. Safety and observing my surroundings were reiterated in all the sessions. The final chapter of this process the actual road driving test, Mr Johnson was calm and ensured that I was calm and ready to take the test, reiterating safety, observation and caution. I passed that test. I highly recommend this school and the staff. Thank you.

When i tell you Carl is the coolest clam in the sea. The man has patience of a saint. He makes you feel very comfortable, and his lessons last a lifetime. I been to his 5 hour before and i stayed awake, and im calling in a few mins for the next one. I highly recommend this school because not only will you pass your driving test but you will be a great driver to handle yourself in these mean queens streets.

He taught me very well and I passed my road test on the first attempt! He was late most of the time but he made up for it always! My mom paid for 10 1 hour driving lessons along with the exam and the 5 hour class and use of the driving schools car so In all it was about $500 at the time idk how much it is now bc I got my license over 2 years ago but I recommend going here if you really wanna learn and pass

I honestly cannot recall how I came across Carlinda Driving School. I was living in Rosedale and most likely simply googled the nearest driving school to my home address and they came up. I had probably 5 lessons with Carl and then I was ready for my road test. One of the things that I recall about him is that he was very personable and patient. He took his time and did not yell like some other instructors I have encountered in the past. I am now helping my little brother get his drivers license and after a day of driving I realized that is not for me I will be sending him to Carl. I highly recommend him.

I recommend Carl he is a excellent instructor. I had my learner permit for 12 years. He is very patience. I pass my road test on the first try.

I had instructor Joe and he’s an amazing teacher. He genuinely cares about his students and is very knowledgeable and gives good advice. He makes you feel comfortable behind the wheel and creates a calm and safe environment which helps if you feel nervous about driving. I had a very interesting experience with this driving school. I’m giving this school a 3/5, because they didn’t provide me with the full service I paid for, due to a technicality that they never made me aware of. To all prospective drivers, especially those who are nervous about driving, Carlinda driving School is the best choice. Please ask for Joe, the best driving instructor in Queens New York. He is extremely patient, knowledgeable and trains people how to drive and how pass the driving test.

I’m also grateful to Instructor Joe for his professionalism, patience and thorough expertise. I honestly cannot recall how I came across Carlinda Driving School. I was living in Rosedale and most likely simply googled the nearest driving school to my home address and they came up. I had probably 5 lessons with Carl and then I was ready for my road test. One of the things that I recall about him is that he was very personable and patient. He took his time and did not yell like some other instructors I have encountered in the past. I am now helping my little brother get his drivers license and after a day of driving I realized that is not for me I will be sending him to Carl. I highly recommend him.
