I wanted to share what an amazing experience my daughter had with Learn2Drive. From scheduling the in person classes online, to the great communication, fabulous classroom instruction, flexibility of scheduling, and then Ms. McLean for her driving portion—everything was phenomenal!! I specifically want to give a shout out to Ms. McLean. Her calmness, support, tailoring of routes for where my child will frequent, and overall expertise were incredible. Not only was my daughter at ease driving, her dad and I were as well while she was out on the road and feel she has been well prepared to start driving with her permit in a couple short weeks. Learn 2 Drive was a wonderful experience for our son. All the instructors are knowledgeable and passionate. My son enjoyed each day of class and also LEARNED! I was most concerned about Chase's on the road instruction (aka "behind the wheel") and Max made him feel at ease and comfortable. The owner, Vickey is awesome to work with. Ms. Vicky Bridges is an excellent teacher. She is patient, calm, and disciplined but more importantly she know her subject very well and that is teaching one to drive. If I could give a gajillion more stars, I would in a HEARTBEAT. Vickey Bridges isn't just a driving instructor, she is a driving MENTOR. And I would (and will) recommend her to everyone and anyone, whether they need to learn how to drive, brush up on it, or feel completely hopeless and doomed. I was the latter. I'm a recent transplant from CA and surely a late bloomer in terms of driving. I have had various driving instructors and two failed drivers tests. It didn't help that I began to develop a driving phobia after my sister's car accident. Long story short, I pretty much gave up for the next 2-3 years. Unfortunately, lack of transportation as a college student doesn't get a lot going for you, especially when you are in a new town. Finding Vickey was ultimately fate. I first stumbled upon a review for Carolina Road Driving School and it mentioned an instructor that used to work there named Vickey, and it emphasized just how PATIENT she was! Number one, my shaky driving desperately requires the patience of a saint. Number two, it made me more comfortable that she was a female instructor. Number three, she teaches both teens AND adults. Towards the end of the review, I find out Vickey has her own driving school called Learn 2 Drive! After finding her website, I was so impressed with her reviews and past experience. This lady doesn't just know her stuff, she has a PASSION for it. She impressed me right off the bat when I emailed her for information and scheduling. It was late at night, around sixteen emails in, and her replies were still quick and right on the dot. She definitely knows how to run her business strong. I booked her for 7 days or so and the whole experience was life-changing from the very moment she first picked me up. She never once yelled. She never discouraged me. She never let me lose hope. She encourages and praises your growth while gently and diligently correcting your mistakes. I mean, c'mon, she passionately takes on the challenge of teaching adults how to drive! It takes a lot of guts and patience to do that, but age doesn't limit her skills one bit. No matter how hopeless or devastated I felt, I knew she genuinely had my back and rooted for me. I knew this as soon as she made me feel safe and reassured when I had a slight breakdown one day. Trust me, she's going to run this race WITH you. (It also helps that her car is super smooth and comfortable to drive in!) I just received my license today. I began to cry as soon as I found out. ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS GIVE HER A HUGE BEAR HUG (which I did). I'm a new driver so I'm still getting the hang of things, but I finally have the courage to do so. That courage is thanks to Vickey. Not only is she an amazing instructor and mentor, she is undoubtedly a beautiful person just the same. Vickey, thank you for your patience and heart. Vickey is a fantastic teacher. She knows how to put a nervous driver at ease and teach you how to drive properly. She is patient and kind, and a great teacher for adults and teen drivers. Approaching my mid twenties, I didn't think I would ever be able to get over my fear of driving and get my license but with Vickey teaching me, I not only passed my test, but had full confidence in my ability to pass. It has been a month that I have got my driving license and I am driving with confidence since. All thanks to Vickey. She is an exceptionally good driving teacher. She is very....very patient and she will not give up on you till you get everything right. She gave me lots of driving practice while explaining all the rules. One thing I would like to stress is that she had more confidence in me than I had in myself which really helped me. She is very friendly as a person and she did everything to accommodate the driving sessions according to my convenience including lessons on the weekends. I am a current student and all I can say is that it's a very good school. I'm a working mom in Raleigh and they are so flexible about scheduling lessons. I have been spacing them out due to my busy work schedule. I am having such a wonderful experience and I know that I will be walking into the DMV with confidence next week. The price was affordable also! My instructor is so patient and does a very good job of explaining the NC driving laws and how to drive safely and correctly. I hear about her through a friend of a friend and I am so glad that I was able to work someone so experience and dedicated! Highly recommended! Read Less
