MotoMark1’s main goal is to provide state-of-the-art motorcycle training courses. MotoMark1 is the only motorcycle school in North Carolina that utilizes instructor-to-student communication and digital video-enhanced critiques for getting the most out of their students. The biggest difference between our school and others is we do not teach you how to ride…we teach you how to drive your motorcycle. Hence our slogan "Making ordinary riders into…extraordinary drivers."

MotoMark1 is by far the BEST driver education school in NC. The attention to detail and the additional information and tools that MotoMark1 gives the students is priceless! You won't find this level of instruction any where else in NC! My daughter is already a better driver thanks to MotoMark1!!!

I have sent both of my teen drivers to this class. All the instructors are top-notch. You can tell that they are passionate about teaching the teens safe driving. Being a retired LEO driving instructor I wanted to make sure my teens had the best instruction they could get before they started driving and Motomark provided it. The instructors aren't there just to collect a pay check they truly care about the teens. Thank you Motomark and all the instructors. Keep up the good work. There is no doubt that your teaching is saving lives.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t excited to know they did not do in person classes, but it worked out great! My son really enjoyed the online classes and the instructor was really great and even funny, making my son more comfortable with the whole situation!
When it came time for the actual driving part, my son was so nervous given that he had not really driven before. The instructor, Mark, was so great!! He was very patient and spoke very calm with many words of encouragement along the way. He made us laugh too! The best part of everything was I got to ride along in the back seat the whole time.
I highly recommend using MotoMark1 over public school any day of the week! It was 100% worth the money and we now have a learners permit!

I am eternally grateful that I ran across Mark all those years ago when the USMC was getting excited about training. Call it the right place and the right time but I was there - and I’ve considered the voice in my ear (Mark) my mentor ever since! Not a day goes by when a vehicle potentially presents me an opportunity to practice my evasive maneuvers - I believe that’s the phrase he would say that we would be thankful for instead of being mad at drivers for cutting us off! Well, this month marks my 20 year riding anniversary. With 5 bikes, I’m just about hit 195k miles of riding that has taken me all over God beautiful country - with no collisions. Now, we give glory to whom glory is due. God is in the midst of the story of it all. Part of that story has been what MotoMark 1 and Mark Brown did for me at the very early days of my riding career. Mark, thanks for teaching me to ride with a correct purpose! Love ya brother!!

The Motomark1 team was hired by the Marine Corps to provide training to a select group of experienced motorcycle drivers of the Marine Corps, Navy and Coast Guard. This training was given in order to help them refine their existing skills and develop new ones. The intent of the training was to establish them as mentors for "at risk" motorcycle drivers. When asked for feedback from those trained, I received only positive comments. All felt the quality of training was superior... to any that they had attended in the past....to include many high level training courses. One comment was: "I've been riding my bike for 20+ years...this week I learned how to drive it". Another: "I broke past a barrier and I feel like I just started a new chapter with my motorcycle". Thank you, gentleman for all the hard work in some very hard conditions. I know your efforts will help our new mentors save military lives. Well done! See More

I have sent both of my teen drivers to this class. All the instructors are top-notch. You can tell that they are passionate about teaching the teens safe driving. Being a retired LEO driving instructor I wanted to make sure my teens had the best instruction they could get before they started driving and Motomark provided it. The instructors aren't there just to collect a pay check they truly care about the teens. Thank you Motomark and all the instructors. Keep up the good work. There is no doubt that your teaching is saving lives.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t excited to know they did not do in person classes, but it worked out great! My son really enjoyed the online classes and the instructor was really great and even funny, making my son more comfortable with the whole situation!
When it came time for the actual driving part, my son was so nervous given that he had not really driven before. The instructor, Mark, was so great!! He was very patient and spoke very calm with many words of encouragement along the way. He made us laugh too! The best part of everything was I got to ride along in the back seat the whole time.
