If your child fails the initial eye check , make sure to email or call Jordan school for clear instructions. They provide a form for if/when a child fails the initial eye check but the instructions on that form is very confusing. I sent Jordan school an email with a little feedback for them to revise the form. Hopefully they do so. Read Less

Horrible!.. From the communication and follow-up to the driving instruction. Just really not an organized program at all. When my son did his driving lessons with the instructor he had another student in the car, a girl at that which made my son so uncomfortable he couldn't even focus on the learning aspect of driving! Will definitely not be using them for my daughter and I will be filing a formal complaint with the school/ district because they really should do better if they are serving the students in the school systems. I am now on my second experience with this driving school. So I'll describe both. 1. I showed up to an in person class on the first day with my medical alert service dog. When I attempted to walk inside, the instructor stopped me saying he wasn't notified a dog was in the class. I explained that she was a service dog, and she was permitted to go with me per federal and state law, but for the sake of my education I was willing to send my dog back home with my mom and take the class without her, since I had friends in the class with me that could help in the event of a medical emergency. He then told me that I would have to take the online class, because I couldn't be in his classroom due to my conditions. I was not medically excused, I was told I could still take the class. Just not in that instructor's room. I then called his supervisor and was told to attend the next session, and that he had no right to kick me out for that. Unfortunately I was in a hospital the next week. Under this school, you can't miss 2 days for aby reason, so I accepted that I would have to get into another class. My problem is that we were not refunded even though I missed class due to the instructor, not anything of my doing (the first day). 2. I am currently enrolled in a virtual class. First red flag is this: the rules for the virtual class are incredibly controlling. For example: a student cannot talk to any other person in the house at any point, including siblings or parents. You also cannot take the class at any kind of workplace or really anywhere outside of the home. This is a major problem and defeats the entire purpose of virtual classes. Kids in my class have been kicked out of the zoom meeting for these things, and yes, now they are responsible for attending the make-up day. That's not the only problem though: On the assignments they give us, it is an incredibly common occurrence to find a question that is nearly incoherent and forces you to overthink the question, and therefore get it wrong. They also repeatedly give trick questions, and when a question itself is written or scored wrong, the instructors refuse to give leeway or fix the question. As you can tell, these have been incredibly stressful experiences. I do not recommend this school at all. And just to add: My service dog lies under my desk during the entire zoom call working as if she would have in the in person class, out of pure spite. Read Less

Horrible service! My daughter started Driver's ed in October of 2024, and when I searched the website for an eye check appointment, there wasn't any openings until MARCH of 2025! Finally when I did get one and finished the eye checks, they waited for ONE MONTH to call. When they did, they appointed me an instructor, Ms.Clark. Ms.Clark is by far one of the rudest instructors I have ever seen! She yells at students and is very impatient! She yelled at my daughter just for messing up a three point turn on the SECOND DAY! I think Jordan Driving school should do a better job in training instructors to teach their students with respect and have some patience! WOULD NOT RECCOMEND! Read Less

I saw a lot of bad reviews about this school, but I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say. If I ever had a question, they got back to me quickly. They were extremely prompt about every scheduling, to the point that I didn’t have to wonder when/if something might be scheduled. Ms. Butts was my daughter’s instructor, and she was nothing but kind and professional with me. My daughter adored her. She commented multiple times about how nice she is, and how calming her voice is. I chose this school because of the convenience that they work within CMS’s system, and I would whole-heartedly recommend them because I had such a positive experience, and more importantly, my new driver had such a great experience. My btw instructor was extremely rude. He gave information contradicting the info taught in the in-class portion, only cared about his job, and would fuss at me for anything. He would often stop for 20 minutes for A SNACK BREAK! And the students weren't allowed to have food with them in the car. He refused to let us keep a reasonable following distance and instead had us 5 car lengths back. He bragged more about being the best instructor there than he did actually teach, and didn't even go over some of the required curriculum because he was worried about wrecking and losing his job. I've got many more complaints, but it would take forever to type them all. Just know that I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Read Less

My daughter has a 4.2 GPA and is playing club soccer in the highest possible division in NC. She is a sweetheart, drama-free, kind, and extremely mature. She took Driver’s ed last June, and the teacher couldn’t get her in for the driving portion until December. Even though she now won’t get her license until she is 16 and a half, we were fine with that, until I just found out her teacher was a complete jerk while she was driving with him. He made her cry 3 times, and yelled at her repeatedly, for stupid things like not knowing how to use her turn signal. She had never once driven a car before. Isn’t that the point of these driving lessons? Roger Howard, you should be ashamed of yourself. Read Less

I will update this review, but I just wanted to share that I had a positive experience on the phone with Jordan's Driving School. I called to check on the status of my son's behind-the-wheel scheduling. Everyone was very professional, they confirmed our contact information, and I was encouraged to call back if I didn't hear from the instructor by the beginning of next month. We had been told it would be 3 or so months and the start of next month will be within the three-month time frame, so that seems reasonable. My son didn't seem to mind the class (taken over Winter Break), and I've noticed that he mentions things he learned when he is with me in the car. I just wanted to provide this positive feedback. Hopefully it is a sign of a positive pivot on the company's part! Read Less

This school is terrible. It took 5 months in between the in class and behind the wheel. We literally had to put our hazards and horn on for everything. When The instructor and I went to do a check around the car, I opened the hood and checked fluids, the coolant top was open and had barely any fluid in it, also it had 2 quarts too much oil. I have had 2 kids go through the program and they have the worst customer service and outdated system I have ever dealt with. They say don't call them, they'll call you to schedule Behind the Wheel but they never call. When you call them they say "Oh you were on our list to call this week." Really?! That's what you said when I had to call you with my last kid and what you said a few months ago to my neighbor." You can't schedule on-line, you have to wait for the instructor to call you and verbally give you dates and if you can't do those dates, you go to the back of the line. It's like scheduling something in 1970! There is more to my negative experiences but it's too much to type. Thank goodness I am done and do not have to deal with them ever again. If you can, go to a private driving school. Our driving instructor, Ms. Lee was great and we did like her. The only positive. Read Less
