The instructor is very nice, but he’s also very effective, having people want to help you is a really good feeling and one of the charms of this place. Another charm is the simulator game, while it may be hard to learn it, it’s a bit easier to master, it helps you with having fun but also learning! But, The driving portion takes this review from 5 stars to 2, Mr. Reid is very stern and while you're driving he'll tell you to do things you're already doing and he isn't very clear on directions, he also is very prone to being late, and it doesn't matter if your first lesson or last he'll treat you the same. At the Wheel driving Academy is an awesome driving school and I highly recommend it!! My child was new to the driving world but the Instructor "Manny" really took his time with my child, went above and beyond which most will not do, he made him feel confident and comfortable to drive. Now, he is excited to get behind the wheel and talks about different things he learned or was told to do during drivers ed course. We were able to start the class within a week from sign ups and was on the way to the road testing shortly after. These guys are fast, funny and humorous. When I first heard that the instructor has you drive to Walmart or errands, I paused. Then I thought- that is brilliant! I WANT my child to know how to get in and out of Walmart on a Saturday morning! I told my child to ask him to take you through a drive thru! My child did cry the first day driving- but she needs to know how to drive in ALL types of conditions. THE CLASS ROOM PORTION WAS AMAZING! EVERY W EEK MY CHILD CAME HOME EXCITED AND FULL OF INFORMATION! (I even started using something they taught and it really helped me on a rainy night getting onto 85 in the construction- and they had just changed the lanes) We still have another driving day left- but so far I am very happy! I would strongly recommend finding a different driving school. Their instructor either doesn't know the rules of the road or chooses not to observe them. The instructor drives dangerously and I consider him unfit to teach our children how to drive. Read Less

Haha I love how people are complaining the Reed took them around town doing his errands... He is trying to help you to get the feel for when YOU yourself has to run errands. He may yell a lot, but I personally used to it XD my mom does the same thing... You cant take Reed too seriously or you will end up crying like the majority of my class mates did.. My 15 year old daughter attended drivers ed over the Christmas break.  First they were told they would have everyone on the road in 6 weeks.  After several calls and at 9 weeks she drove.  The classroom portion of the instruction was fine and I feel confident that she learned a foundation for theoretical driving however the driving instruction was horrible.  Her instructor yelled constantly interlaced with profanity and driving instructions that are horrible.  Examples... "no cop, no stop" "turn the damn wheel" "get in that f****** lane" and "the speed limit is just a suggestion, go 10-15mph over".  When she cried, he laughed.  She is not the only student from her school to take private instruction there and all her friends experienced the same treatment during driving component.   The classroom room instructor I felt was more than competent however the man doing the driving instruction is abusive at best.  Buyer Beware!
