Had a great time learning to drive here, the instructor Jared was a very friendly and nice person and he had a great way of explaining things using examples we could relate to and he was very helpful in making the learning experience enjoyable. Ended up getting my permit on the first try so I would highly recommend anyone looking for a great driving school to try this one!

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Jared. My wife is from Colombia and had never driven before in any country. She practiced a bit with me in a parking lot but I needed to figure out a way to get her a permit so she could work with an instructor. I am new to the state and so I needed someone to give me some guidance.
Before I'd paid him a single dollar, he provided me clear, concise answers about how we could get her a Learner Permit and then work with him to get her ready for the road test.
We went with his 6-hour package (three two-hour lessons). He even formatted the route so that she could drive his car back to our house a few miles away and then he could drive back. This was super helpful in terms of the logistics of getting her there on my lunch hour and then she could take her lesson.
My wife speaks English as a second language, and so I need an instructor who would be friendly and patient. Jared was all of this and more in spades. He went over everything that could be on the test and was super helpful in getting her confidence up behind the wheel.
My wife got her permit in September, took lessons in October and got her license in November. The whole situation could not have gone more smoothly and Jared was instrumental in that.
I searched all around the web in Mecklenburg and Iredell counties to find the best instructor. Jared has high reviews for a reason. I would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of a driving instructor, and I personally thank him for the work he does.

Best driving school in Iredell County! The owner/instructor Jared is a GREAT instructor, who makes learning about driving fun and comfortable for all. He is very calm and always encouraging. Would highly recommend IDA for both the classroom portion & behind the wheel training to anyone wanting to learn how to drive. 10/10.

I had a amazing time at this place. Jared made class fun and we had breaks every hour. I was nervous before I went and at the end of class I had a amazing time. Jared made the driving so easy, he talks you through everything. He is such amazing instructor. You don't learn just about driving you learn life skills in the end and I highly recommend this driving school. I had a amazing time and I hope you do to!
