My daughter was there as part of an amazing program, Kelli's crusade, a driving safety program to help teens avoid crashing by providing 4 hours of safety lessons with this absolutely phenomenal staff and organization. She had the best time learning how to control skids, braking, stability control, winter safety, situation awareness and just so much more!!! She is so much more confident now!!! Everybody was fantastic with this group of teens, no matter the age or how much experience. I cannot stress enough how great they were. We have a fleet of trucks that aren't required to have CDL licenses, and I had been looking for years for a school that could prepare our drivers for the differences between their own cars and our smaller trucks. Finally, I found Drew and his staff at Drive Team. We arrived in the morning for classroom time, then went outside to learn serpentine maneuvering, managing a skid, pivot points, rotation points, and ABS compared to threshold braking. They were patient, thorough, and organized. They brought in a great lunch and gave us personalized written guides and a report card by individual. My entire team received a full day of professional training, and the following day in my office, we did a session on takeaways: they'll keep both hands on the wheel at 9 oclock/3 oclock, no distractions, and look forward - to name a few. We tested them on the percentage of tire in contact with the ground, control, where to look, and the difference in pivot point and rotation. For being a driving school you would think their employees would actually know how to drive. On two separate occasions different employees have almost caused me to have a wreck due to their incompetence while driving. One incident was on Steele's corners exit ramp ant the other was Rte 91 in stow. If their "trainers" are any indication of how they train people to drive, I wouldn't trust them with a unicycle.
