I observed an instructor make a very dangerous illegal move today i wouldn't send my kids there if the instructor dont know the laws how can they teach them

November 2025-December 2025. Had to initiate all communication to get any information on what was going on in the process. The room where they hold the classes is not maintained or acceptable for teens to be in for hours. The driving instructor was very nice and followed through with sending what was needed to the bmv, but that is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one. Too much money and all paid up front with no organization or communication. Poor management and “just watch videos the whole time”. My son could have done this online for much cheaper.

So I signed my wife up for this class because of Wheelers Driving school being so close and the only 1 to take a legal immigrant. She came to America on a K1 Visa. Most schools within good driving distance would not take her for mainly 2 reasons. The first main reason was her age being over 18 or because they only took people with certain disabilities that are approved for driving (I think is what 1 said). So I found Wheelers with a google search and gave the number a call. The teacher picked up and took my wife THAT DAY! No excuses or whatever. And my wife and I were really wanting a driving school. Not just the online tests/practice. We also wanted a driving school that is affordable. The other school we found that would take her (which is also far away) was over $1000! So we chose this schools. I am VERT PLEASED I happened to miss the reviews on google as they are ALL WRONG! 😃😁 That is from the previous owner/teacher. Just call the number outside of class hours and she will call back if she does not pick up. The new owner is trying to salvage this company. DO NOT listen to the bad reviews! They do not apply now that Wheelers Driving school is under new ownership/management. 🙂 Very good school and my wife has enjoyed her time here!

My daughter absolutely loved doing her drives with Wheelers. She is thankful the instructor was nice and fun and we would recommend Wheelers to everyone!

Local Parents — A Caution About Wheeler Driving School
I want to share our experience with Wheeler to help other families make informed choices. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with them.
They were consistently unresponsive to messages and calls, misrepresented their availability when we signed up, saying they could schedule drives within 4-6 weeks but were much much longer. We had to contact them multiple times to schedule and they mostly offered times during the school day. They canceled scheduled drives — making the whole process stressful and frustrating.
I wish we had known this before committing time and money. I would not recommend this business, and I encourage others to do their research and explore more reliable options.
