I had a great experience. I was able to finish my online class, the portal was pretty friendly. The school would answer my questons via email, and my driving instructors were really kind and nice people to hang out with for 2 hours at a time. Danielle, Robert and Amber. The cars we used were in really good shape, and I passed my test with no issues. Read Less

Schwartz Driving School took money from students but did not provide the driving lessons that were promised. The person answering the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. They charged for services, failed to provide them, and did not issue a refund. This experience felt like a scam. I would strongly warn parents and students not to spend money here. If a business takes payment and refuses to provide the service or refund customers, it should be reported and possibly taken to court. Read Less

If I could give a zero rating, I absolutely would. This has been the worst experience trying to set my student up for success. They are not interested in taking care of the customers they have they just want your money and move on to the next customer. I’ve made complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General’s office. Wouldn’t suggest the school for my worst enemy. Read Less

We’ve now had two kids go through Schwartz Driving School in Westerville, and at this point it’s clear the issue isn’t a one-off — it’s a pattern. The instructors are great. Unfortunately, everything behind the scenes is the exact opposite. This latest issue is honestly unbelievable. We were told our signatures (mine and my daughter’s) are “not valid” because they need to be able to read them — and that we now need to print our names and initials instead. That is not what a signature is, and the forms very clearly say “signature,” not “print.” If you have specific requirements, maybe communicate them upfront instead of creating delays after everything is completed. And that’s really the theme here — zero proactive communication. Both times we’ve gone through this process, we’ve had to chase them down just to find out what’s missing. Nothing is flagged ahead of time. Issues only surface after they’ve already caused delays. Then you try to call? No one answers. Email? Slow responses, often asking for information that was already provided. Meanwhile, these courses are not cheap. At some point, it stops feeling like disorganization and starts feeling like a complete lack of operational competence. It’s incredibly frustrating because the instructors do a great job, but the administrative side makes what should be a straightforward process unnecessarily difficult at every step. If you’re considering this school, just be prepared to follow up constantly, double-check everything, and expect delays — because they will not manage the process for you. Read Less

Just to clarify, I took the teen classes. The actual driving school was pretty easy just listen to the lessons and answer the questions. I also decided to go here for the 8 hour required instructor time. The instructors were very friendly and helpful with any questions I had, specifically with the cones or what to expect on the test. It wasn’t too hard to find spots for scheduling but they did fill up fast. I wouldn’t rate over three stars though because after I was done with all my requirements (with driving school teen classes and the 8 hour instructor time)l and all I needed was my certificate of completion they took a month and around 2 weeks just to get my certificate. At first I kept my patience and just kept emailing for my updates but after a while I just kept having to wait longer than I had to just to get updates. For example the first time I asked for updates the had me sign documents then it took another week with no communication and email from me again just to get me to sign more documents that could have been done way earlier. Then after the month and a half I waited I had to email them that I still was waiting for updates despite being assured at the beginning I only had to wait 10-14 days at most. Despite that situation everything else about this driving school was pretty good and for the price I would recommend going there for at least that. Maybe it depends on the location but if you do any further training here (like the 8 hour instructor time) be prepared to be sending email after email before having to send a full complaint but to get what you need. However who knows, maybe it was a problem specifically with my process and I hope anybody who decides to go here doesn’t have to wait as long as I did because it was definitely frustrating. I don’t place any blame on the instructors because the ones I was assigned to were very friendly and social people who only wanted the best for me so honestly most of my problems were just on whatever was going on behind the scenes ( especially with the recent winter weather). Excellent. Classes were able to be scheduled very quickly (four days sequentially) and were quick and simple. Teachers were sure to instruct and accommodate scheduling needs so long as you conduct yourself politely and are an adequate driver. Wish I'd scheduled with Schwartz first, would've saved almost 6 weeks time. Read Less

first of all stay away from this company, you will save time and money. I signed up my sister to take 5 driving lessons for $300 ($60 a lesson) from this company which I paid up front (biggest mistake). they gave her only two lessons and they decide not to accommodate her because of her poor communication ability. now instead of giving her $180 in refund for three lesson ($60 a lesson) they are asking me to take only $125 refund. which I refused to take. Donna who works in office asked me to email her boss if I have dispute which I did so I emailed Dan Kramer, owner this place on march 27 2015 and today is June 1st 2015 and I am still waiting to hear from him. again stay away and save time and money.
