We paid for my son to take driving classes that included 8 hours of drive time with an instructor. We have been fighting to schedule his time for 2 months with no response.

Made me cry in the first 30 minutes of driving I was scared of him he needs to retire. Took my test at a different school and told me he could tell i went to Henley’s (implying it was bad). Just go somewhere else. I would sit at a stop sign for a solid 30 seconds before he decided where to go instead of already having it planned out. He would change his mind in the middle of me turning and would yell at me for not knowing where to go when he didn’t tell me where to go. I’m not sure if this man has dementia or if he just doesn’t like children he needs to retire. Read Less

Awful. The class itself was monotonous and they skim the material and don’t go very in-detail on anything. The real problem itself is with Mr. Henley; trying to contact and communicate with him is its own issue, but the real problem lies in the in-car. He will make his students drive him to run his errands and sit in the car while he wastes their time (as if it wasn’t already being wasted before), and berate and belittle whichever individual has the horrible misfortune of being in that drivers’ seat that day. His idea of education is to break the student rather than lift them up or help at all. He is clueless on your name, on your age, and on who you even are. He will project his imperfections and mistakes onto you and will essentially force you into a corner through his questionable methods of intimidation. When you mess up, he will throw his arms in the air in fits of rage, slam his brakes, slap at things, and scream. People I knew who went there also said he would make you run red lights and make illegal maneuvers, stating he was “above the law.” Never recommend or send your child or any sensible human being here. Mr. Henley needs a renewal of whatever license allows him to legally do this to anyone. Read Less

Would NOT recommend Henley's Driving School to anyone. The classroom was okay and the guy who teaches is okay, his name is Brian, and the one driver named Roger was also okay, but when it came to Mr. Henley he was very rude during in car and he throws his hands up, and he makes my kid very nervous and we know other people who had the same experience. He was on his phone during the driving and calling different clients. He is very hard to get your scheduling driving in. His mail box is always full, and you can never get a hold of him. The only way to get a hold of him to talk to him is at noon maybe or if you call him a couple times back to back repeatably if not there is not a very likely chance that you can talk to him. He makes my kid and a few others that we have talked to nervous. Again would not recommend. It should have been a good experience which it mostly was it was just Mr. Henley. Read Less
