I had a wonderful and insightful experience with 1stLTD. Scott is a great instructor, highly knowledgeable on road rules, and gave clear and concise feedback during and after our drive courses. Prior to taking courses, I already had some experience training on the road but with Scott's help, I was able to take my skills further, ensuring a more advantageous position when taking my driver's exam (which I passed).

I started out feeling really nervous about driving, but learning with Scott completely changed that. From the very first lesson, he created a calm and supportive environment that helped ease my anxiety. What stood out most was how clearly he explained different driving scenarios and talked through the right thing to do in each situation. That guidance helped me understand the "why" behind the rules and built up my confidence on the road.
Thanks to Scott’s patience, clear instructions, and encouragement, I actually began to enjoy driving—something I never thought would happen! I’ve come a long way since my first lesson, and I truly credit Scott for that. If you're looking for an instructor who’s knowledgeable, reassuring, and genuinely invested in your progress, I can’t recommend him enough.

Absolutely amazing experience with 1ST LearnTo Drive! The instructors were so patient and encouraging, and my teen went from nervous to confident in just a few lessons. They made learning safe driving skills fun and stress-free — and my teen passed the test on the very first try! I can’t recommend them enough for parents who want their kids to be safe, capable drivers. Thank you as well to the owner, Mike, for making all this happen.....

Going into my 4-week lesson plan, I did not think that I would pass my drive test and get my license within a calendar month. Scott helped me make that possible. Scott is super chill, funny, and personable, but at the same time and most importantly he keeps it real with you. I went from starting the process of putting the nerves behind me and ripping off the band aid of pursuing my license to feeling cool, calm, and collected on the day of my drive test. Can’t thank Scott enough. He is the man!

Purchased the 3 x2hr personalized on-road driving lesson package (3 sessions in total; 2hr per session). I scheduled each session flexibly. Scott, my instructor was very good. He helped me get extensive on-road practice, caught my errors and also gave me great tips/ advice. He did a few mock drive tests for me on my 3rd session; really helped boost confidence and rectify minor errors. I took my scheduled road test a week later and cleared it in the first attempt. Highly recommend!

This is the worst experience I ever had.the guy who called himself Mike was very rude and arrogant.They cancelled my lesson then refused to give my refund and start to discriminate against me.I would never ever encourage anyone to do business with this place.they are very unproffessional and once they take your money from your card, they can do what ever they want.

Very unprofessional, I called them twice and all the guy who answered could say is "is this mike" and when I said no he told me to call back again.. I did.. Nobody picked up. I called again hours late...
Very unprofessional, I called them twice and all the guy who answered could say is "is this mike" and when I said no he told me to call back again.. I did.. Nobody picked up. I called again hours later and the same question "is this mike" then he says "I'll call you in the morning" so annoying! I don't recommend!

I signed up for the 3 - 2 hour lessons. I had no real prior driving experience.I grew up in inner city Portland and had been a bicyclist for 10 years. The first lesson with Larry we learned the basics and went from there. Larry was a very helpful instructor who was calm and interesting to talk to. By the second lesson, I was already driving around the city and left the lesson feeling less stressed about driving. These driving lessons forced me to practice driving and I passed the drive test on the first try and issued my first driver's license at 27.

I did not get my money's worth. The instructor barely gave constructive advice at all. The ride was mostly quiet and sometimes she did not respond to my remarks at all. I kept waiting for her to proactively teach me, as that was what I was paying for. She seemed in a horrible mood. She did not give me the full driving time that I paid for. It was nice to have someone to drive along with me as I conquered some of my driving anxiety, but I could've gotten a friend or family member to do this and not shelled out so much money, for all that I got out of that lesson. I do not recommend this company to ANYONE. Please do yourself and your wallet a favor and stay away.

I had a wonderful and insightful experience with 1stLTD. Scott is a great instructor, highly knowledgeable on road rules, and gave clear and concise feedback during and after our drive courses. Prior to taking courses, I already had some experience training on the road but with Scott's help, I was able to take my skills further, ensuring a more advantageous position when taking my driver's exam (which I passed).

I started out feeling really nervous about driving, but learning with Scott completely changed that. From the very first lesson, he created a calm and supportive environment that helped ease my anxiety. What stood out most was how clearly he explained different driving scenarios and talked through the right thing to do in each situation. That guidance helped me understand the "why" behind the rules and built up my confidence on the road.

Scott is super chill, funny, and personable, but at the same time and most importantly he keeps it real with you. I signed up for the 3 - 2 hour lessons. I had no real prior driving experience.I grew up in inner city Portland and had been a bicyclist for 10 years. The first lesson with Larry we learned the basics and went from there. Larry was a very helpful instructor who was calm and interesting to talk to. By the second lesson, I was already driving around the city and left the lesson feeling less stressed about driving. These driving lessons forced me to practice driving and I passed the drive test on the first try and issued my first driver's license at 27.

I did not get my money's worth. The instructor barely gave constructive advice at all. The ride was mostly quiet and sometimes she did not respond to my remarks at all. I kept waiting for her to proactively teach me, as that was what I was paying for. She seemed in a horrible mood. She did not give me the full driving time that I paid for. It was nice to have someone to drive along with me as I conquered some of my driving anxiety, but I could've gotten a friend or family member to do this and not shelled out so much money, for all that I got out of that lesson. I do not recommend this company to ANYONE. Please do yourself and your wallet a favor and stay away.
