Good quality drivers education located in Springfield, OR. Brad and Patty Folsom are dedicated to providing high quality drivers education locally. Both Brad and Patty and their staff gave my young driver the confidence to drive in and around Lane County with confidence and she passed her drivers education test with flying colors! Brad is working hard to bring LCDS to our more rural schools and communities such as Creswell and Cottage Grove in order to provide a necessary service to the areas young drivers. This driving school is so kind. Especially a driving teacher Patty and the office staff are always nice. My friends feel nervous and frustrated to me when they teach driving to me. But Patty praises me and never make me nervous. So, I always enjoyed conversations and driving. If I didn't meet her, I disliked driving. Lane County Driving School is great! My boyfriend and I both had negative experiences in the past involving impatient driving instructors at other driving instruction companies, but we were both pleasantly surprised by our experiences with Lane County Driving School. We each had four one and a half hour driving sessions with Patty. She was calm and patient and she didn't make us feel pressured or stressed. She was professional and friendly. She gave us tips and pointers to help us feel confident enough for the license test, which we both passed on our first try. I highly recommend Lane County Driving School. I have been driving for 6 months now and love to drive , 6 months ago I never would have been able to say that .i was scared and nervous and hated to even get behind the wheel .  Patty and brad not only got my comfortable behind the wheel they taught me tips and important information about driving . I met them 1 to 2 times a week and each time I learned something new . I learned how to park and parallel park how to merge what to do in situations and how to stay calm . Not only that they are very affordable ! They make driving fun , and they help you be confidant they believe in everyone and it shows. I took my driving test and I got 100% and it's all because of what great teachers they are . When I passed they were just as excited as I was ,they really are cheering you on very step of the way. 6 months later I still am loving driving and still follow their tips and rules. If your a teen or someone who wants to learn how to drive but needs help this is the school to go to. You will not regret it . In fact you will love it , they really are 2 amazing teachers who are amazing at what they do. Read Less

Worst experiences ever. Please don't waste your money here!!! HE YELLED AT ME AND SAID BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DRIVE, HE NEEDS TO SPEND A LOT TIME ON TEACHING ME. Can you believe this? I rarely write comments no matter how bad my experiences were but this one is unbearable. My friend told me she called a driving school and her coach was super nice. I needed to get my driver's license, so I just looked up on the internet and the first one comes up is this Lane County Driving School. I had four lessons and totally regretted it. My friend also took four and she told me they practiced driving around the apartment in the first lesson, then on the road for the second lesson, they got on the highway on the third lesson and practiced parking on the fourth lesson. For my experiences? I never drive before, so we started out around the apartments. He just couldn't stop complaining about how the bumps in the apartment hurts his back and yelled at me because i couldn't step on the break on time or wasn't using much accelerator. Then on the second and third session, we went to springfield and practice. Imagine what happened? He yelled at me again and asked me not to shift around. Seriously? He talked like i was doing that on purpose. Also, he repeated several times that he didn't want scratches on his car because i was too close to the curb. OK, FINE, i never argued with him, i figured i can probably improve better if i just concentrate on driving. MOST ANNOYINGLY!!!!!! I had to beg him to teach me parking !!! He yelled at me again when i couldn't parked right in where he wanted and i got really pissed off. I said you don't get to talk to me like that. I paid you money to teach me and now you are yelling at me? GUESS WHAT HE SAID?????he said, BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DRIVE, I NEED TO SPEND A LOT TIME ON TEACHING YOU!!!!!!!!!!!what was his problem??? If i know how to drive, why would i pay all these money to him?? Anyway, please be smart and do not pick this driving school and please tell your friends not to.
