This is a great school for getting a full no restrictions CDL. They train you on 53 foot trailers, 10 speed tractors, and will properly train you slip shift and double clutching. This class is not for the faint of heart. You must be willing to listen,learn, and DO THE WORK. Show up to class do what your instructors teach and they will get you driving a truck with the confidence you will need to pass your CDL test and be a SAFE driver on the road. In all honesty this school is hard to describe. They have a few good instructors. But to be honest there was not much as far as instruction goes. You will get thrown in a truck with 4 to 5 other students and sit and wait cramped in the sleeper cab to get your turn to get a half hour or so of drive time daily if both trucks are there and functional. You will get some general experience but basically your on your own to figure it out.So you have to want to learn! they will not hold your hand or make sure you understand what your doing wrong so ask a lot of questions! You will stand around outside and wait your turn to practice your backing, depending on your class size you might want to bring a chair. And warm clothing or in my case a tank top because it’s a black top lot.You will have 4 weeks of book work and tests. Make sure you have your cpl and physical done before hand! They do not provide help with this and it’s expected you have obtained the cpl. Now before you go and think this guy must just be a person who didn’t get his cdl. Wrong I completed this school and passed my tests and obtained my class A cdl.But I am just giving this review so you know what to expect. Best school in the Northwest. I did my research for many different schools and companies. I don't think i could have made a better choice! While you are attending school you feel welcome. The instructors are great and take the time to show you everything that you need to know. If this is the career that you want then this is the place to be. I enjoyed my experience at Northwest Trucking a lot. They make sure you pass! No one gets left behind in this program and you will be out on the road driving right away; I know other programs won't have you driving for a couple weeks. Not at Northwest! It is a fun environment the instructers really care about you and want to see you exceed in the program. They are willing to work with you in the area you need help. To them you are not just another student you become more like family to them. This is the best place to get your C.D.L. and be ready for whatever you will drive! The training is fantastic hands on, more training out in the field than in the books. Very flexible staff on working with you to get funding and help you find a job after graduation. Best school ever! Read Less
