My experience at Sage,New Stanton campus was wonderful. Being a young 53 yrs old I felt like I was in my early 20s again. ALL the instructors are very knowledgeable, understanding honest and very patient. There were 7 students in my class, me being the oldest always said " I don't need anymore friends " well I new since day 1 that I had 7 new friends. We all stuck together and motivated each other. As for the instructors they also motivated each and Everyone. Always remember one thing, THINGS ARE NOT FALLING APART THEY ARE FALLING INTO PLACE. THANK YOU JESUS

Sages truck driving school got me my cdl first try, overall very pleased with the experience. James was very helpful in assisting me in the application process and even helped me with shifting and took full advantage of my open schedule and really pushed me through. The classroom time dragged a little due to everything being online. After the first day of the classroom I didn't have much to do once the ELDT was completed, I should also note I already had my permit and everything ready to go so the other 3 days was a bit uneventful. I worked with JR for most of my driving and ranges, he's an excellent instructor real easy going guy and he'll show you everything you need to know from pre trip to actually driving the truck, he's a Very knowledgeable understanding guy just listen to what he has to say try it his way first then try your own ways figure out what works best for you especially on your skilled maneuvers. George was my other instructor mostly driving he's once again a very experienced and knowledgeable driver he really takes you out there going as far as union town and putting over 100 miles on the truck per drive at times. He really makes sure you're comfortable driving on the highway as well as going through Mt pleasant and connellsville which can be rather tight for a tractor trailer. Overall I felt very comfortable going for my test. It should be noted JR is the only examiner and can't test you if you train with him they will send you to Penn commercial to test. It is a slight disadvantage as the test is a little more difficult in some areas but if you can really drive a truck you should have no problem. Overall a decently good experience would recommend to someone else.

I just passed my CDL test, first try, yesterday after I went to Sage - New Stanton. Overall, the experience was pretty great. My first drive session was not the greatest because I got pretty frustrated with one of the instructors but I might have gotten him on a bad day. The other instructors were really great.
After my first session I was pretty sure that I was going to want to test in an automatic truck. I was ready to give up that soon because of how frustrated I was at that first session but huge shoutout to Mark and Jason for taking the extra time to help me with shifting. Patience from an instructor goes along way. Way better than an instructor that yells and grabs the stick without telling you why you’re doing it wrong.
Jason helped me so much that when I tested, the examiner said I was one of the better tests he has scored in a while.
Huge thanks to Ed and Amber as well for making the process pretty smooth with the scheduling and application process.

My brother and I recently sold our family business after 52 years. I’m now working with my son n laws in the crane business. I decided to challenge myself by getting my CDL. I enrolled at Sage school....
My brother and I recently sold our family business after 52 years. I’m now working with my son n laws in the crane business. I decided to challenge myself by getting my CDL. I enrolled at Sage school. The staff and trainers were wonderful. I appreciated every minute of what I learned from Mark, Mike and George. Ed and Amber were very supportive. All great people. Thanks for making my retirement!!

I just passed my CDL test, first try, yesterday after I went to Sage - New Stanton. Overall, the experience was pretty great. After my first session I was pretty sure that I was going to want to test in an automatic truck.
