I was able to get my license through success after taking four lessons, and I learned so much and feel very confident driving after my time with them. My main issue when I started was staying in the center of the lane, which my instructor helped a lot with, but he also taught me about checking my blind spot and mirrors, stopping efficiently, driving on the highway, and more. I tried other driving schools in the city and they told me it would take me months to get a license, but I was able to do it very quickly with success, and I built the same skills! I passed my test today—huge thanks to Success Driving School! I signed up for the three lessons + test combo and had the absolute honor of learning from Gordon and Ray. They're two of the most genuine and supportive instructors I've ever met. From day one, they were patient, knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping me become a confident and capable driver. When I first started, I didn’t even know how to operate a car—and now I’m licensed, all thanks to them! On 4/9/2025, I took my driving test. I opted for the warm-up session beforehand (which I highly recommend, especially if you're not used to the test vehicle). Ray walked me through the entire route, gave me a mock exam, and shared some extremely helpful tips and tricks. He ended the session by encouraging me and telling me I would pass—and he was 100% right. The only driving experience I had was the three lessons from Success and a couple of self-practice sessions. Yet the test felt surprisingly easy, and I credit that fully to the top-notch instruction I received. I loved learning from Gordon and Ray. They made the entire process comfortable and empowering. For someone like me who has never driven a car at 36 years old and the thought of even driving a car being my biggest fear, these lessons were a blessing. Yes, I was apprehensive and of course procrastinated even after my first lesson, but I was dedicated to get my drivers license. Though the few lessons I took added up in cost and the 3rd party tests I had to pay twice (I failed the first time due to parallel parking), this was worth every cent. My instructor was great and gave me confidence when I was going to through in the towel. The process was worth the time and money. Took care of my tag and title after getting my new PA license.  The go-to place next to the DMV was abruptly closed right when I was about to enter and the security guard told me about Success Driving School as an issuer of car registrations etc.Only took a few moments and they were very nice and professional.  My understanding is that they charge $15 ish more than competitors but they have a notary and other items on site and you don't have to wait hours and hours.  Would def go back. Believe the negative reviews.  I went here to get my car transferred to PA after purchasing from CarMax.  I gave them all the paperwork that was sent to me from CarMax and they returned some and kept others.  I didn't know any different.  When I went to pick up my registration, they couldn't find it and almost made me come back later.  Luckily they did find it, but then I got a call from CarMax saying the lien was never added.  When I called success, they denied I ever gave them the forms and refused to add the lien if I didn't pay $100.  I called and AAA only charges $50.  I don't trust this place anyway so I will be going to AAA.  Beware. Incredibly helpful. My parents were giving me their old car and I needed to transfer the title and register the car with PA. Went to Success on a Saturday morning (all other places are closed on the weekends). Only one other person ahead of me, didn't have to wait long. They told me exactly what I needed to do, completed all the paperwork for me, and followed up when they received my registration. To be honest, I decided to take 4-5 classes during the summer because my friend was too busy to teach me. If I had waited, I would have been better off. The prices are overpriced for what you get. You pay for two hours, but only get about 1.5 hours of driving in because the teacher arrives on the dot of your appointment and then decides to do the paperwork. In my opinion, the driver should have that completed prior to class (again, ripping you off for your money). The driver also has you drive around center city, which is "okay" for learning, but then when it comes to parallel parking (which I believe is the hardest for some), spends little time on that. He also uses his phone throughout the class and smokes around you and take's his sweet time, which I think it disrespectful and unprofessional. What really bothered me the most was I paid for a 2 hour class before the day of my exam, which was on the same day (have a class before the exam). I was not informed that I was going to be in a car with two other students. The whole payment of having a class before the exam was about $100-200. Not only did I waste my money, but the time that I paid for was used on two other students! How ridiculous? The guy said "well this is what happens on exam days." Then they should not provide classes prior to driving exams because it is not 1:1 BEWARE! This school tends to not give you the small fine print and you know just day of. I would honestly go somewhere else. The driver is cool and all, but it's a waste of money and waste of time. P.S. I also spoke to the lady's that work in the office and they had no idea how to respond to me. I guess this is an "okay" situation for them because I had already paid and they already got my money. They make everything harder for me. I am trying to replace the auto title for my sister, who is in another country at this moment and I need the title urgently. They ask me to get the notarized stamp and my sister to sign it. Afterward. She can email me or fax me the paper.  Email and print works for them. Today I take the copy of the attorney power letter to there and they said they need the original. Wasted my day to call out and I need to find another auto tab again. I don't recommend if it is urgent and no time to play with them. Read Less

I received driving lessons from the Success Driving School after my aunt recommended this place to me.They have definitely learned the ways of the driving test and can help you through the whole process and prepping for the driving test! I would definitely recommend their package classes. They're usually twice a week, and lead up to a driving test that they scheduled. I recommended my friend to this place too and she liked her experience.My driving instructor was really helpful and we joked around a lot. It was a great experience. Read Less

I've titled and registered two vehicles here and it was super easy. Staff is really friendly and very helpful. I had the whole process done in 15 min with a printed registration as I walked out the door. Just brought my old plate to use, the title, and emailed them my insurance card. They are much cheaper than their center city competitors, one place charged triple. I would definitely recommend the place after two positive experiences like this.If you're paying by check, you will need two: one for Penndot and one for them. Got my title issued here -- they have a notary onsite so no need to bring the car to a mechanic. Expensive ($130 total) but very efficient -- I was in & out in 10 minutes, and they explained all the rules I needed and let me have my updated insurance card faxed. Staff was on the friendlier side.
