Jeremy was a GREAT instructor! I was soooo nervous since I was a beginner and some of the reviews had me nervous about being kicked out lol I had only been riding around a few weeks. Pretty much my whole class was all beginner beginners never rode before. He was great in explaining the exercises , physically showing them, giving feedback and corrections when needed, and really making sure you stayed on the right track. I did make sure I scheduled for weekday classes as there is 6 of us instead of 12 which may have helped. I never felt like we were rushed through any of the exercises and were all given the attention we needed. The whole class passed! Great experience. Read Less

I recently completed the course at Abilene Safety Course, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Mort and Rey were outstanding instructors who kept the class engaging, informative, and enjoyable from start to finish. They did an excellent job explaining both the classroom material and riding exercises in a way that was easy to understand and apply. What impressed me most was how constructive their feedback was. They took the time to point out areas for improvement while providing clear guidance on how to become a safer and more confident rider. Both instructors maintained a professional learning environment with strong safety standards and strict rules on the range, which made it clear that rider safety is their top priority. Their knowledge, patience, and ability to teach riders of all skill levels really set this course apart. I would highly recommend Abilene Safety Course to anyone looking to learn how to ride or improve their riding skills. Read Less

The class is advertised as a beginner class. I did learn very valuable information in the class (before I was told I wouldn’t make it through the class) and I do understand the safety of teaching riders so said safety factors. But I am a beginner beginner (rode a dirt bike when I was like 14 years old, that was 50 years ago). The majority of the riders in my class have been riding for sometime and knew the basics and performed them with great confidence and others had some riding experience. I feel like the classes should be broken up into categories of experienced riders who are taking the class to acquire their motorcycle endorsement and beginners like myself in a separate class with fewer riders. The instructors were ok, and would take the time for explanation and I know that people learn in very different ways and apparently I am one of those people. I personally would not recommend this class for a beginner like myself unless all riders are so said beginners. My beginner level was far below the other riders and I’m sure I was slowing things down. Also, I’m not sure if the older man who is an instructor was having a bad day, but from the start of the morning he didn’t seem like he wanted to be there, I will say he was patient with me though. I will choose an alternate route in learning to ride, because I know I can do this and will not let this experience defeat me. I don’t want this to all be negative, I truly believe the instructors are doing their best to teach safe riding. And I will learn to ride safely. Read Less

As a beginner rider with very limited prior experience, I was initially nervous about taking the course. However, the instructors were incredibly patient and thorough in teaching each skill and concept. At one point, I became overwhelmed, and an instructor immediately came over, identified the issue, and helped me work through it in a way that boosted my confidence and eased my concerns. The course is fast-paced, but the instructors are more than willing to take additional time with students who need extra guidance. Their coaching style was supportive, encouraging, and highly effective throughout the entire experience. One recommendation I would make is to come prepared for the weather, especially if you are sensitive to heat. I became overheated on the first day, so bringing cooling towels or compresses may be helpful, or consider taking the course during cooler months. Even so, the instructors remained patient, accommodating, and committed to ensuring I succeeded. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I successfully earned my motorcycle license. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in learning to ride. 10/10 experience. Thank Y'all! Read Less

My husband and I decided to pursue our motorcycle license. I highly recommend approaching this journey with an open mind, especially if you’re a beginner. Our instructor, Brooks, was exceptional. He provided comprehensive information and offered constructive criticism on our riding style. While he may deliver some uncomfortable truths, that’s an integral part of learning something new, especially when you’re potentially risking your life on a bike. However, it’s your responsibility to learn and rectify your mistakes to become a safer rider. Brooks couldn’t ride for us; we had to do it ourselves. We passed the course alongside four others, including three beginners and two experienced riders. After the course, my husband and I feel confident about safely getting on the road. We definitely need to continue practicing everything we learned, but overall, the course was fantastic, and our instructor was truly amazing! Read Less

This place was great. The guys that run the course are amazing. I never touched a motorcycle before this course and left an MSF certified rider. They do a great job to teach you and let you know what you need to improve on. Anyone can pass MSF if you come to these guys and listen and learn from what they say. If you can't pass with these guys it's not thier teaching or anything to do with thier facility, the only way you would fail is your own inability to listen and learn to their teaching, especially if you go in thinking that you know it all you will certainly fail trust me, because I had guys in my group who failed previously and admitted it was thier own fault. So take this class, learn, listen, and you will be fine. Read Less
