I had a really positive experience with Carlos our driving instructor. From the very first lesson, he created a calm and supportive environment, which made a huge difference in building my confidence behind the wheel. He was always patient, even when I made mistakes, and took the time to explain things clearly instead of rushing through lessons. What stood out the most was Carlos ability to give constructive feedback without making me feel discouraged. He pointed out areas I needed to improve while also acknowledging my progress, which kept me motivated. Carlos instructions were easy to follow, and he made sure I understood not just how to drive, but why certain rules and techniques matter. He was also very professional and reliable, always on time and well-prepared for each session. As a parent, I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience my two boys had with their instructor Carlos. From the very beginning, it was clear that he created a calm and supportive learning environment, which helped ease the nerves that naturally come with learning to drive. What impressed me most was his patience and ability to connect with each one of my teens individually. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure both of my children understood not only how to drive, but also the importance of safe and responsible driving habits. His approach to giving feedback was especially effective—always constructive and encouraging, which helped build my boys confidence rather than discourage them. I especially appreciated that he spoke Spanish, which is my preferred language. This made communication much easier for our family and gave me added confidence that my children fully understood the instructions and guidance being given. Another thing that stood out was his personality. He is very cool, and it was clear that he genuinely enjoyed spending time with my two teens. At the same time, he maintained a high level of maturity and professionalism, which made me feel completely comfortable trusting him with their learning. "Never judge a book by its cover". My son and I drive up and my first mom impressions were "is it safe here?" but being naturally optimistic about everything, we got off anyhow and met Mr. Joseph...glad we did!!!! He politely greeted and acknowledged us when we walked in. I appreciated that. We spoke to Mr. Joseph and he explained our options. My son is now done with his class and I feel I can honestly rate Baytown Driving School. Based on our experience, his communication skills were GREAT! He always kept us informed of upcoming driving classes and schedules. Mrs.. Stephens is the classroom Teacher and my son absolutely adored her and so I here everyone else did as well. I was told by my son that she was fun and made the class very enjoyable which made you want to listen and pay attention. If I may add one more thing, as a parent we want nothing more than our kids to be safe when you leave them in the hands of other adults, and seeing that it was dark out when it was time to pick up your son/daughter I would like to thank Mr.. Joseph for waiting outside with the students including my son as they got picked up. This place is a diamond in the rough so don't let your eyes deceive you by the outside, these are wonderful people running the program. I will be using them again next year for my other 2 sons. Hey guys this is an amazing place for your kids, to attend their driving course. I've had two kids go here and the instructors really know what their doing. They take the time out and help each individual student to make sure they know everything about driving and the safety of it. He works around all schedules no matter what they are.
