I took my instrument and commercial training from Huffman. This is the most thorough and practical training I have ever received. Huffman knows the regs, and when you are finished you will too. But also, Huffman teaches valuable habits that will mold you into a safe competent pilot, whether you are moving towards an airline career, or just want to take evening flights in a cessna. You can get marble counters and espresso at those other flight schools, but at Huffman you will get the BEST training available.

I had a great experience. I took an introductory flight, my instructor Brett was very knowledgeable. He explained every detail, I felt safe and he was very encouraging during the whole flight. I highly recommend this place and Bett as an instructor.

I love this school! It took me months to find a flight school. Most of the flight schools that I called didn't seem excited to have me as a new student and that was discouraging. As soon as I walked into the office I was welcomed as family. I have been there for 5 months now, and I love every lesson. I look forward to my lessons. The instructors are very knowledgeable and make flying so much fun. I would recommend this school to anyone!

Huffman aviation has been a great place to learn how to fly and to be a safe pilot. I trained at two other places around the DFW area before Huffman but this has been a great choice for me. The goals of the instructors is not just to put more hours into their logbooks but to TEACH. The scheduling system is easy to use and the office staff is always available to help. The billing system is transparent and fair and you will always get a copy as soon as you are charged with a note explain the charges. The planes are not new but they are in great condition being maintain appropriately and timely. I have no bad experiences at Huffman and I will definitively recommended to anybody interesting in learning to be a good pilot!

Great group of guys to learn how to fly from. My CFI Jon has been very patient and always has the answer to every question. The plane are very well maintenance. Jake and the crew take pride in them and continues to add more to the fleet.

Just joined Hoffman Aviation to continue flying as a private pilot and work towards additional ratings. He has a wonderful fleet, a bit older but very well maintained. A very relaxed atmosphere and all of the aircraft are hanger kept. Prices are reasonable and the large fleet means you can always count on something being available.
In my limited experience flying with Mr.Hoffman, I have learned so much more than my original instruction.

I would highly recommend Huffman Aviation to anyone. My wife booked my first lesson for our wedding anniversary, as a surprise, and 90 days later I got my PPL. The estimate of cost was very close (actually a little less) and scheduling was flexible with times available that fit my life. Airplanes are always in good condition and I felt safe flying any of them (even rented for several months after I got my PPL for family trips). When it came time to purchase a plane, Jake was very helpful in the selection, pre-buy and test flight. Lifelong freindships have been made that I value most of all. Thanks to Jake, Jon, Jordan and Brett.

VERY FLAKY. I came here because my previous school had crashed their only complex single engine and I was ready for my check ride. Jake insisted I go up a couple of times to practice before the test, which I had no problem with, but then when the time came, his Arrow went in for (maintenance). Afterwards, it had to be repainted. I was assured I'd get a call when we were ready and it would be just a couple of weeks. MONTHS went by, and I heard nothing, and had NONE of my calls returned. By far the WORST flight school I have EVER been to!

Untruthful, untrustworthy business practice. Charges customer for inaccurate hours, instructor does not listen to requests of student. I would. It recommended this flight school. They are only interested in the dollar amount and do not care about flying. Hangars are disgusting with cobwebs and trash all over the floors. Look elsewhere for lessons.

I took my instrument and commercial training from Huffman. This is the most thorough and practical training I have ever received. Huffman knows the regs, and when you are finished you will too. But also, Huffman teaches valuable habits that will mold you into a safe competent pilot, whether you are moving towards an airline career, or just want to take evening flights in a cessna. You can get marble counters and espresso at those other flight schools, but at Huffman you will get the BEST training available.

I love this school! It took me months to find a flight school. Most of the flight schools that I called didn't seem excited to have me as a new student and that was discouraging. As soon as I walked into the office I was welcomed as family. I have been there for 5 months now, and I love every lesson. I look forward to my lessons. The instructors are very knowledgeable and make flying so much fun. I would recommend this school to anyone!

Huffman aviation has been a great place to learn how to fly and to be a safe pilot. I trained at two other places around the DFW area before Huffman but this has been a great choice for me. Just joined Hoffman Aviation to continue flying as a private pilot and work towards additional ratings. He has a wonderful fleet, a bit older but very well maintained. A very relaxed atmosphere and all of the aircraft are hanger kept. Prices are reasonable and the large fleet means you can always count on something being available.
In my limited experience flying with Mr.Hoffman, I have learned so much more than my original instruction.

I would highly recommend Huffman Aviation to anyone. My wife booked my first lesson for our wedding anniversary, as a surprise, and 90 days later I got my PPL. The estimate of cost was very close (actually a little less) and scheduling was flexible with times available that fit my life. Airplanes are always in good condition and I felt safe flying any of them (even rented for several months after I got my PPL for family trips). VERY FLAKY. I came here because my previous school had crashed their only complex single engine and I was ready for my check ride. Jake insisted I go up a couple of times to practice before the test, which I had no problem with, but then when the time came, his Arrow went in for (maintenance). Afterwards, it had to be repainted.
