The staff is incredible, very well organized business, Chip made everything painless and seamless from start to finish. I would recommend this school to EVERYONE I know. You just don’t get this kind of quality service anywhere else these days. Very grateful I found this place, my son learned so much and felt very comfortable behind the wheel. Read Less

My son had the full service from All Star from online learner permit course to getting his driver license. We were provided guidance, log forms in every step. Never had an issue scheduling the 7 driving lessons, when they opened the schedule for the next week on Fridays. He also had his driving test there (plenty of slots to schedule from) and they submitted all the forms online and we just paid the fee and printed his drivers license at home without any TPS/DMV visit. When I had questions, Chip was always there to answer the phone and help. Thanks a lot for the smooth process during our 1 year journey. Read Less

Just passed my drivers test!! I loved this place so much! You will learn the best way to drive with the best tips especially for parallel parking, chip was always chipper and funny and my driving instructor, Roy, made sure I knew everything to be able to pass the Final drivers test. Yes it can be overwhelming at times because your stressing to get that drivers license but it is so so worth it I promise. If you’re thinking about going here I will say me and my mom had an amazing accommodating experience and don’t believe I would have gotten a better experience anywhere else. Thank you all star!!! Time to hit the roads. Read Less

Very bad experience all around. We originally signed up for another online school. We were coached that All Star was the way to go for the driving portion of the school. NOT what they used to be. It is virtually impossible to get a time for a driving lesson unless you're glued to your computer at exactly 2:30 PM on Friday (a very difficult time for us to drop everything and be in front of a computer). If you weren't clicking the button right at 2:30, you won't get a spot for a driving lesson that week. What a mess. Then, once completed with the driving lessons, we were sold on All Star's ability to "skip the line" at DPS and pay an additional $200 to take the final driving test with All Star. We made our appointment with All Star, pulled our daughter out of school on her 16th birthday for a 10:00 AM driving "test". Once we got to the school, All Star did not have the proper paperwork (on them, we had everything we were required to provide - they screwed up). We were met with a very unapologetic attitude and were told to just reschedule for a later date. You can imagine how well this went over with our daughter who was excited to get her license. And, it did not go well with me since I took off work to take my daughter to the driving test. There was an individual that could have pulled the proper paperwork (which was in a locked filing cabinet in the office next to us), but we were told by the person that was supposed to administer the test that he was not willing to call the individual with the key and we'd just have to wait, or come back. We waited for almost two hours and eventually we had to leave and made an appointment to come back later in the day to take the test. When we returned later to take the test, the individual that messes up the paperwork acted annoyed that we were asking him to provide the correct paperwork and offered zero apology for the mess they created. My daughter ended up missing the entire day of school, on her 16th birthday. She didn't get to hang with friends and have them wish her a happy birthday. She also ended up missing a test review that caused a very low grade on a major test the next day. I missed an entire day of work. It was terrible and 100% avoidable by any measure. I reached out to company ownership and received no response. Overall VERY poor operation and I would encourage you NOT to use this company. Read Less

Overall, we have been very pleased with All Star Driving for our teenage daughter. Chip runs the office and is the most patient, cheerful, helpful human you could ever work with. Helping your teen get their license in Texas is not straight forward, and he answers all your questions kindly, honestly and clearly. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner yesterday and he was also a wonderful man who gave me some great advice about checking her paperwork packet before she does the behind the wheel test with them to get her license. She's had really helpful and encouraging lessons with Jim, Roy and others (they are mostly older men who give the lessons, and some can be a little curmudgeonly, lol, but I guess I would be too if I drove around with new teen drivers most days of the week!). The only challenge is that they are a somewhat small operation with a lot of students so everyone logs on or calls at 2:30 on Fridays to get your appointment time for the following week, so the prime slots (wknds) end up being very difficult to get. I had to set an alarm for Fridays at 2:25 so I was logged in and ready to go as soon as it turned 2:30!! If you can work with that I think you'll generally find ASD to be an agreeable and recommendable place. I would use them again. Read Less

Always out of order, the classes don't go into much detail about driving. Very hard to get a drive time, teachers are always late to class. One of my instructors Jim got angry at me because I didn't write my name in my book. Then he took my book and publicly humiliated me by tossing it in the trash and making me dig for it. When I refused to dig for it he made me write a 3 paged essay on why I should write my name on my assignments. It was overall awful and I wished someone would have warned me before I went, like I am doing now.Read Less
