My helpful advice is to get on a bike before the course and learn about the friction zone, braking, and shifting into at least 2nd gear. Make sure to pay attention to the instructions on the range - FINE-C (as is applies), SEE and other tips learned on the MSF course. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!! I have taken basic and advance rider courses here. Even had some minor mistakes and instructors were patient. Now, for the bad reviewers who are mad they got cut from class. There is entirely too many motorcycle accidents in this area and if you showed any form of unsafe riding and got cut then that's valid. If 10+ of you were unsafe, oh well. I'm sure the instructors have sufficient experience and would rather you be mad you gotta take it again then allow you to be on the road causing accidents. So if you do very light homework of safety on a motorcycle, you should be good to go riding these small bikes and if you are not, go practice some more and then take the course without blaming others. These courses are important and extremely helpful in teaching riders how to be safe and maneuver safely before going on the road! 100% approve. Read Less
