He was very patient answering questions and demonstration of the exercises we had to do, he made it easy to understand. This was everything I could have hoped for in a Basic Riders Course. I had never even stepped over a motorcycle before this 3 day class and by the end I was confident and having a blast. My instructor, Erik Marquez, was professional, patient, and enthusiastic. He made the entire learning experience comfortable and worked extremely hard to make this experience enjoyable. Thankfully I passed the course and won't have to return for the BRC course but I plan on returning for the advanced course in a few months and would highly recommend this place to a friend looking for any motorcycle safety course. HelloI just took the Basic total rider course with Erik Marquez. It was a great course he was very clear with the instructions during the range time. He made sure that things were done safely at all times. Also if your not clear dont hesitate to ask to get something repeated or shown to you again. Erik is a very patient person. I've never rode a motorcycle before everything was new to me. After completing this course I feel very comfortable and confident that I will take all safety precautions to keep myself safe also be aware of other people and obstacles. Took the Basic Riders Course. The instructor Erik Marquez was great. Very knowledgeable and instructs in a common sense adult to adult style. He keeps the classroom and riders day training very professional but lively. Never a dull moment.Bad side is that I wish the motorcycles at the track day included dual sport bikes. I currently do not own a cruiser type bike so something in a sportbike would be preferred. Obviously it's not Erik choice but the Total Rider Company.I'd recommend the course to anyone. I didn't take the course from Harley cause I heard they would push or talk a lot about buying a bike. I don't like people trying to sell me something when I should focus on the training. Thumbs up to Erik and Killeen Powersports for not bugging classroom attendees about purchasing a bike. Awesome time. Wish it was cheaper though. Read Less

I had to get my motorcycle license for my job. ERIK MARQUEZ was one of the best teachers I ever had. The man is entertaining and informative.  He did a great job making sure the we were safe and having fun. The bikes were easy to learn on and the directions were simple and straight to the point.
