Just met the rudest receptionist ever at this location. Not only is she too stubborn to listen to customer needs. She likes to argue instead and not offer any solutions. Take your business elsewhere, this place sucks -- as you can see from the response below, they also allow the rude receptionist to be a keyboard gangster as well. Take the constructive criticism of getting a receptionist that doesn't talk down to people & make your place one customers want to visit. I cannot recommend this school enough. As of last Wednesday, I am officially licensed, and I didn’t even have to wait more than 30 minutes at the DMV, all thanks to Texas Driving School giving me the opportunity to take my road test with them. I really enjoyed the in-person classes because Mr. Reyna was an amazing teacher who explained everything thoroughly. The behind the wheel lessons were very easy to schedule around my school schedule at Lehman, and they were also great learning experiences. All of the instructors were amazing. I never got his name, but the retired cop instructor made both lessons I had with him enjoyable and helped me learn more, so I really appreciate him. Every other instructor was also great as well. I was not the best at parking, but they all helped me improve in that area, as well as in other parts of driving where I struggled. As for my driving test, I would forever recommend anyone to take their test here because the examiner made me feel so comfortable. She was amazing, and I will always be grateful to her because every step of the way she reminded me to breathe and explained the next steps of the test. Thank you to everyone here! :) Read Less

I honestly feel that this is the greatest school environment overall, driving-wise and academically. The setting is well accustomed to the feel, the teachers are wonderful (they can teach AND they have a good sense of humor), and while I haven't actually driven yet (I'm planning on setting up an appointment soon), I hear the training is well set up (I hear the back-up cameras are glorious). I definitely recommend this to anyone looking towards getting their Learner's License or full-on Driver's License! Read Less

Really appreciated the driving test process -- it was easy to get an appointment quickly (UNLIKE DPS -- thank you state legislature for underfunding them!) and the test administrator was kind and not intimidating. They let my daughter have a test run in their car (with the administrator) so she could get used to driving a car whe was unfamiliar with. Read Less

I don't know too much about the instruction of this school because unfortunately I was never able to get ahold of anyone!  After emails, messages that weren't returned, and playing telephone tag, I got tired of being put off and found another driving school to book with.  Twice I actually got someone on the phone during their business hours but they were "busy" and told me to call back later (and they wouldn't be there).  Just ridiculous.  They clearly didn't want my business so I took it elsewhere.  Got booked with another traffic school in the area, and it cost about $100 less! The programme itself is so-so. They do well with teaching the material, but they focus WAY toouch on driving under the influence. It's good for parents, but having gone through a week of "learning" about drug-related-accidents, I felt I had had enough. They seemed to be so repetitive that I couldn't find myself to listen the entire time. As for the teachers... Well I liked it there for the first few days, but then my personal problems at home (made worse by mental disorders) came in the equation and WOW; they aren't sensitive to that. I remember vividly, drawing around my notes while we watched a funny instructional video (presumabley) from the 90's. The director of the school (who was filling in for the regular teacher) very rudely called me out by making a question/remark about my drawing in class. This wouldn't have been a big deal, but being in an emotional state at the time and knowing half the classroom from school, it was humiliating and took the last straw out of me. I may be bias due to my bad experiences there, but overall it was an easy and enjoyable (for some) programme. Read Less

Website course is dry and boring, repeats itself a number of time and statistics are dated by several years.  Final course certificate (needed to dispense traffic violation) was either not sent or was lost in the mail.  Second certificate was promised to be send priority with tracking number.  It was not.  Finally had to raise this up within their management to get it sent ground in 3-5 days.  We will see if the third time is a charm.  Suggest trying another couse. With so many schools with similar names, I hope that I am reviewing the correct one.The web page was so UN-user friendly, that I called to make sure this would remove my ticket and was accredited.  The rep was very nice and said that everything would be taken care of, just sign up and pay the money.I did that, to find that I had been enrolled in the discount program.  In fact, they put the wrong name on my documentation.  This course was more like 12 hours with a lot of repeat information.  I was not sent the correct certificate and I was charged an ADDITIONAL $10 because they enrolled me in the wrong course.  The court had to overrule their mistake but I still do not have the extra money charged.  They kept it.  Then they sent me emails acting like I signed up for the wrong course on purpose.    They are so unorganized, do not know the facts of their own credentials and misguided me from step one.  Find another school which will put in writing what you should sign up for and the miscellaneous fees you will be charged. Their web site states five hours of instruction with one hour of breaks.  At over nine hours, when does it end?  Find another class.Seriously, this is beyond ridiculous.  They claim one thing - less time, but actually EXCEED the an in-class school. 9 hours and 12 minutes. Read Less
