I paid $400.00 for my son to take driving lessons from Sears back in July. He completed in class lessons. We had to wait until October to get his permit. Got his permit and found out Sears driving school closed down. I want my money back but haven’t been able to reach/ talk to anyone to find out how to go about getting my money back so I can enroll him in another driving school. If anyone has had the same problem and has been able to contact someone about getting their money back I would really appreciate the help.

I was a student in October, my family payed $400 for classes and was told that would be all I needed to get my drivers license it is now July and I am now being told I have wasted my time due to miss Information by the staff of the school. They did not tell me I would have to pay more money to take an actual driving test I had already taken, so now I have to pay and extra $100 to the dmv because of the school.
On top of all this, they have made me reschedule multiple times for testing and the staff has been rude and conceding to my family.
If you are looking for a good school that will properly inform you I would NOT attend Sear’s driving school. It’s is a waste of time and money

Warning: scheduling driving time is a nightmare. It's difficult to get an answer, I called 3 times in a row before someone answered. They only allow one day a week to be scheduled and want to put you on a call back list for cancellation. They need to have an assigned 7 day lesson like they do with the class. The class portion was excellent, my child learned easily. And the driving instructors are good, I believe Ms. Mona is the one my child likes the most. But the staff running and scheduling is rude. They give you an attitude and are very sarcastic when you're trying to ask questions. If you ask about the schedule they only want to give you one day and hang up on you without confirming or even saying a simple bye. Management needs to discuss etiquette with their staff.

Staff is very unpleasant and even rude at times which you shouldn't be when working with teenagers. They have almost 0 flexibility in their drivetime scheduling, Poor teaching in general -- class ridicules and laughs at teens who ask questions and the instructors nearly encourage it.

I went to office to get all the information. I have 2 teens. Was to foe the older it was $80 for a one day class, then I could call corporate and pay $80 for practice driving and she would take test with them and if pass only go to dmv with the sealed paperwork and get license.
Now what they didn't say was it's $96 to two hours and most teens /first timers need about 3 to 5 of these sections. And then it's $80 to test and get license with them. 😠
That what Town east people to me.
Corporate just gave me this 96/80 info.
I call them to tell them the misunderstanding they gave to me and miss Daisy couldn't seem to care less .
Poor Poor customer service.
I've heard "Sears" was the best 👎
So later today I went in for refund. This was around 3pm. 1st she wasn't going to gave me anything that state I requested a refund, I tell her just gave me a copy of the page in your hand that has my info and reads refund. She looks around get her phone and says I have to go over there to make copy. 😐 the one right do work it was printing when I came in ,she said it don't work. I told her no you going to call someone 😠smh.
IF THAT WASN'T ENOUGH! !!!!
The same little girl that pull the folder of my daughter for the refund calls me round 7pm talking bout I need to come in and make a payment for her class that starts on the 19th. FYI I PAID IN FULL! !!!!ON THE 3RD OR SO .
PLEASE PLEASE OTHER PLACES IN MESQUITE HAVE 5STAR RATING LOOK AROUND. OK I'M DONE✌

I paid $400.00 for my son to take driving lessons from Sears back in July. He completed in class lessons. We had to wait until October to get his permit. Got his permit and found out Sears driving school closed down. I want my money back but haven’t been able to reach/ talk to anyone to find out how to go about getting my money back so I can enroll him in another driving school. If anyone has had the same problem and has been able to contact someone about getting their money back I would really appreciate the help.

I was a student in October, my family payed $400 for classes and was told that would be all I needed to get my drivers license it is now July and I am now being told I have wasted my time due to miss Information by the staff of the school. Warning: scheduling driving time is a nightmare. It's difficult to get an answer, I called 3 times in a row before someone answered. They only allow one day a week to be scheduled and want to put you on a call back list for cancellation. They need to have an assigned 7 day lesson like they do with the class.
