The class itself was very helpful and educational. However, I believe some things need a little more work with the curriculum. (Maybe more hands-on learning?) Out of everything, the drive times were definitely the most helpful. The class is mostly textbook work and videos, but it’s understandable to cover the basics this way. My driving instructor was very nice and funny at times. Would highly recommend.
Update 1 year later: I just took my drivers test for a provisional license and scored an A on the first try. This wouldn’t have been possible without the great instructors and tips... they said my parallel parking was “perfect”. I doubt there are any better schools around. Thank you SafeStart!

The testers were incredibly friendly and kind. Our visit was quick and very professional. Without even asking the office emailed us helpful information, tips, resources, and reminders! Driving test was quick and easy, And the instructors were very helpful and had great feedback for my daughter. If I could give Six stars I would!

Safe Start Driving School is a nice and non-stressful way to learn about basic driving. My instructor was very passionate about giving us information about laws and driving. Although the format was less integrated than expected such as complete questions in the textbook then discuss it in class, it does provide you a nice description of basic knowledge. The instructor was a great reinforcer of this knowledge. All in all, my experience was enjoyable.

I took my driver's test here and it went wonderfully! They are super nice and it only took me under 20 minutes. Would recommend to any one who wants to skip the long wait at the DPS.

Mrs. Wood runs very good classes for teens. My brother and I both went here and would suggest it to anyone that is looking for really good classes. They are friendly, clean, and have really cool games...
Mrs. Wood runs very good classes for teens. My brother and I both went here and would suggest it to anyone that is looking for really good classes. They are friendly, clean, and have really cool games in the other room when you're on break. They make it a very comfortable learning experience! A+!!

Love this driving school!! Very understanding if you have an issue with making the classes and is fun. They make it more fun than boring and scheduling drive times is so easy!! You feel like they are your best friend, very good about expressing the safety and hazard driving brings. And Sara is the coolest person here, take your drive time with her on Sunday mornings!!!

The class itself was very helpful and educational. However, I believe some things need a little more work with the curriculum. (Maybe more hands-on learning?) Out of everything, the drive times were definitely the most helpful. The class is mostly textbook work and videos, but it’s understandable to cover the basics this way. My driving instructor was very nice and funny at times. Would highly recommend.

Safe Start Driving School is a nice and non-stressful way to learn about basic driving. My instructor was very passionate about giving us information about laws and driving. Although the format was less integrated than expected such as complete questions in the textbook then discuss it in class, it does provide you a nice description of basic knowledge. The instructor was a great reinforcer of this knowledge. All in all, my experience was enjoyable.
