I had a great experience at this driving school. My instructor, Sir Richard Castillo, has been nothing short of amazing. I took the 7 hour package with him and up to the very last class, I had something new to learn. He is the kindest, patient, most encouraging and supportive. He takes his job very seriously and does it with so much dedication and passion. He is so alert, focused and goes all out in teaching you how to drive, road rules and make sure you’re safe on the road. I will carry these sessions with me as he taught me a lot more than driving. Ayala driving school is going through ownership change but they still manage to PROVIDE a safe but relax environment for the students to learn not only how to drive but how to survive in this traffic environment that is changing and getting more aggressive. I'm sure the school is producing a driver that will be safe and respectful to other drivers and pedestrians on any street and because of that I believe Ayala driving school is a BIG LEAGUE and AMAZING school to enroll your children or even yourself at. Unprofessional, dangerously stupid instructors. Among other things, they'll take you down roads that are (simultaneously) steep, long, narrow, and winding, with no shoulders, countless blind turns, and cyclists everywhere. If you want to potentially kill a pedestrian and maybe yourself at the same time, this is the place to go. There are plenty of other driving schools in the area that are way, way better. Im really pleased with how the instructor teaches me and other students how to drive. Im an adult and my experience about driving is close to nothing. Mr. Santos is my instructor and I admire how passionate he is with what he's doing. I always gets nervous whenever I drive but he always gives encouragement(which I really really need) to boost the confidence in me. He really tries his best to help us with driving defensively and always asks us in the areas we need to work on. For those people who wants to learn how to drive I highly recommend this school. Lessons were easy to comprehend, and the lesson teacher had a sense of humor that kept classes from feeling boring. Driving instructors were very informative, especially Mr. Santos. He has a unique style of teaching while driving/observing with him that makes paying attention and learning to drive educational AND entertaining. Overall a good school to send a teen to, minus one instructor who grabbed my daughter's leg to "assist" her in hitting the gas. Not only is this highly unacceptable and unprofessional but the same instructor also told my daughter that she sucked. Again highly unprofessional. The solution the school came up with was to just change instructors for my daughter instead of doing anything about the first instructor. I was much happier and my daughter was happier. The best thing is the other two instructors she was taught by did not call her names or grab her. If you choose this school make sure your child does not go with Mr. Santos because to my understanding the man still works there. Read Less

It was great! They are certainly disorganized (what business isn't really and truly). The classes are a breeze, Mr. Ayala is humorous and very likeable. The driving instructors are very laid back and chill. But if you attend ask for Javier, he's the best and is easy to get along with! Overall the school is a good one. I had fun. Read Less

My daughter really enjoyed learning to drive at Ayala. The owner/instructor is top-notch and very good with this generation of teenagers. The students all seemed to like him and paid attention in class, which is saying a lot for 4 nights a week, 2 hours a night for 4 weeks. All of the driving teachers were very qualified and treated the teens with respect. My only 'complaint' is that we weren't told in time that DPS required a certificate of attendance from her high school so my daughter was unable to get her permit over Christmas break (she has a December birthday). The attendance office at her school only provides the documents on Tuesdays and she didn't know to ask until the Thursday before break. They had very flexible hours for the actual driving lessons, which was great. Other than not having a printed checklist of required paperwork, this driving school provided excellent service at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this driving school and feel like my daughter was comfortable behind the wheel right away. Read Less

This school is a great place to learn to drive. I had an excellent experience when I was learning to drive. The owner is also the classroom teacher and he is a very good teacher with many years of experience under his belt, as well as terrific mannerisms. The driving instructors are excellent and helped me get over my fear of driving for the first time quickly. I highly recomend this school to any teenager wanting to learn driver's ed, or any adult wanting to learn to drive. Read Less
