Today is officially the start of a great future. I came to Sage 1day after I got my DL after it was suspended for 20 yrs. In those 20 yrs , every time I drove by a semi all I could think of is how much I wished that that was me in the drivers seat. Well now that day is here. To a very beautiful Mrs. Summer and her ‘side kick’ Mathew (lol) I have to say you made making the decision to enroll at Sage a no-brainer. With your competitors fighting to get students it is not an easy task however you both made it so. The instructors,Frank and Clarence, are well informed with 100 years of experience between the both of them to teach more than just the basics in the classroom. Some instructors come to get a paycheck. Well that is NOT these men. They are here to teach well above the marginal basics. On the drive pad we have great instructors as well like Irvin,Keneth, Rick,&Josh. They got me ready for not only the test but for real world situations. Any type of real world application is drilled into my teachings,getting me ready to safely drive on the roads and highways of our country. And finally, I want to thank Mrs. Candy for all she does at Sage. People say she is expectant of perfection,and that is not just a rumor. She needs to make sure that I never see children or anyone for that matter ( victims)every time I close my eyes before I go to bed. It’s a very real thing and not something I ever want to have to deal with. She wants what’s best for every student coming out of Sage. I say this because I think it’s important for everyone attending to understand where she is coming from. This school was great. The staff and instructors are easy going and humorous. They make the boring class hours fun and interesting. I was worried about the 44 hours of drive time not being enough time to fully grasp the backing maneuvers, but lo and behold, I ended up doing better than I thought I would. The instructors are patient when it comes to the backing. They will teach you the tips and tricks to make it happen. They work 1 on 1 when it comes to driving. No group slip seating. Just graduated (CDL in hand) from SAGE and wouldn't have chosen another school for the job. This was a well thought out investment for my future to attend this school. Sage is amazing! They literally just helped me make a miracle happen! I am a contractor, and the company I contract with gave me 3 weeks to get a CDL. I started at a different school, but they weren't teaching me much in an 8 hour day. I called Sage with 2.5 weeks left and they said they could help me and give me one-on-one training in the truck. Today, 2.5 weeks later, I took the test at DPS and I passed. You can't go wrong with Sage, and the one-on-one training in the truck is priceless. If you want your CDL, and your willing to put the time in to learn everything you need to know, you'll get it with Sage. It was worth every dollar i spent. Thank you Sage! From the 1st time i called for information i was transferred to speak with director Noel Smith. He gave me helpful information and a phone number to a DOT grant for millitary personal. My husband and i started school the following month of Dec 2015. All of the instructors are professional they each have a blessings/gifts for teaching. Each of the instructors are diverse and with very different teaching styles. Some are very strict and drill you and others are kind and encouraging and push you but not as the others due. During my training i had a personal issue. The director went above and beyond to accommodate me and my husband. This school is the best. As for the no job placement.. well i think they do include it in the program because they also require us to apply for employers, they proof your app, bring in recruiters, keep your records for you. Monica truly loves her job and we all witness it every time we work with her. San Antonio, TX SAGE TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL is he best in the west, east, north and south. Great School!!! I graduated Jan 21st 2016 rite after passing my DPS Driving Test. The secretary Monica will get you in regardless of how much of a struggle you make for her, if she sees that you truly want to attend SAGE she will make sure you have a secure spot within the classroom. I say that because she had to push my start date back about 4 times in order for me to attend due to delayed records and DOT tests on my part, but when I finally got everything situated she made sure I was ready to start that following Monday. Throughout each class day you learn something different, and sometimes recruiters from major companies show up to speak and tell you about their company and how they love to hire SAGE's students. The bosses name at SAGE is Noel, he owns all of the trucks you'll be driving within their perimeters and on the road so he makes sure their kept in running condition, once you meet him he'll be like an uncle to you. All of their instructors as well as Noel have over a million miles under their belt so they know the roads and road rules. Each instructor is friendly and courteous to your needs so you can tell they want you to succeed and not just throw you to the streets without the proper know how. They help you find a job by sending applications to one or more of the companies of your choosing or the ones they provide you, I put in 3 applications and got a call back from each company. Once you've graduated it is highly likely you will have a job if not you will already be in whats like a Job Placement program where they continue trying to find you jobs till your behind a wheel. My experience at SAGE was great, I met plenty of good friends and ate a few big meals thanks to those friends, if your in the San Antonio area and would like the proper training to receive your CDL's I highly recommend SAGE's Truck Driving school.Read Less

If you want to learn how to drive an 18 wheeler AND for sure pass your CDL road test, then look no further. Almost half the cost of the big name guys that start with 'R' and end in master; you get one on one training with some great, experienced instructors.
