This driving school is awesome! Don and Patricia are great teachers, and are very patient. They taught me real well, that my husband told me I am a way better driver now than before I took this school’s courses, and also, I feel way more confident and comfortable being behind the wheel. I even passed my driving test! You can take the driving test in this school and you have two options. You can pay the driving test right away, or you can have the 30 minute practice before the actual test. I recommend taking the latter if you are a beginner driver like I do. I was a student driver at the age of 24 and was just starting to get my license. I chose this school because of the location and they had mustangs as the driver's ed car. If you are lucky enough to get Don he is the most patient, calm, and gifted instructor, especially when it comes to parallel parking. Texas Driving School was probably my last option to help me in getting my driver's license. I am 31yrs old and have dealt with anxiety as long as I can remember. Family members have tried to teach me, but for one reason or another I didn't mesh well with their teaching style or wasn't ready to deal with my nervousness. So I called the school, and Patricia was who I talked with over the phone, and she made it easy to set me up for my lessons. I had 3 lessons with Don, who was calm and PATIENT. He made it easy to get comfortable behind the wheel and gain the experience needed to prepare me for my driving test. Due to a mixup with their appointment calendar, I didn't get to go on my 4th lesson. However, they were very apologetic and offered me a reschedule or a refund for the lesson. I chose the refund because my test was scheduled that day. And I'm happy to say, I passed with just 3 lessons! I know I still need to gain lots more experience but this is proof that it can be done, with just a little time and patience from the right instructor, and confidence in yourself. Read Less

Wonderful driving school. I called this driving school because they had excellent reviews and I had no idea how to drive. My instructors name was Don, he was excellent and taught me very well. I now know how to drive because of him, I just need to keep practicing what he taught me. I passed my driving test which is excellent. They are really down to Earth people, especially Patricia, who answered my phone and later I met in person. She was open and genuine to find out what my needs were and the best way to accommodate me the first available Driving hour. She even thought me how to go online and book the driving test exam with the DMV on my own. You don't see such friendly attitude nowadays. Two days later I started my driving and Don - the instructor was right there in front of my gate as arranged. He is really a professional, no stress no arguments with him.
