The upfront cost gave me sticker shock, but in the end, it was invaluable. They take teens from never having been behind the wheel to feeling confident, prepared, and truly RoadWorthy. My son loved the simulator sessions, and I had to laugh at the end-of-session banter: “Well, I hit a kid who ran out from behind a car today TWICE during neighborhood driving, but I figured it out and passed the neighborhood lesson.” 😂 And honestly, that is exactly why the simulator sessions matter. The instructors are patient, kind, understanding, and accommodating, which makes such a difference for both teens and parents. These kids absolutely love the driving instructors, and I loved that the process gave my son real driving experience while keeping the neighborhood kids 😉, my vehicle, my garage, and my mental health intact. We were new to Texas, only been here a little over a year. The driving… oh my gosh!!! It’s crazy it here. I have 2 teenage grandsons that were going to start learning to drive. No Way!! Did I feel we were going to teach them to drive here. But, after signing both boys up with Road Worthy, I found out that it was a law. Which was convenient. 😊. We were treated very well by Caren among entering and signing the boys up. Both the boys felt comfortable with both of the instructors. They learned a lot, were informed of all the dos and donts as some of Mo states laws are different than here. They would always come back smiling and ready to work some more on their driving. Caren was so understanding when I’d have to call back up there for more information, that I wasn’t sure of. She’s got the patience of Job. . One of our guys got his license yesterday. They take care of everything. WE didn’t even have to go up to the DMV for the testing, they do it all there. Then if you want they will download it all to Texas and so that saves another trip. All you have to do is wait for an email. 😊 If you’ve ever had to go to the DMV here in Texas, you’ll know why I’m so appreciative of them doing all the legwork. I can’t thank them enough! I’m serious!! I would gladly choose Road Worthy again. There’s no doubt in my mind that my grandsons will be as ready as they can be for driving these crazy roads here. Now, I’ve got one more grandson to go, in about 2 months or wherever I feel he’s ready to go up there and take his drivers test. I WOULD NOT change a thing of I had to do it over again. The instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and made the entire process comfortable—especially for a new or nervous driver. What really stood out was how confident and prepared my student felt after completing the program. The lessons were well-structured, and the instructors took the time to explain everything clearly. Scheduling was smooth, and the overall process was very convenient for our family. You can tell they truly care about safety and helping students succeed.
