Great instructors. Very patient and very knowledgeable on the curriculum that they teach. Weekend class is wonderful for the ones who work during the week. It takes a little bit longer but very much worth it. Thank yall for the wonderful experience I had with this program.

Just want to first off say how amazing everyone there was. From Patty who dealt with all the paperwork and the headaches to the instructors Lonnie is freaking amazing and had a lot of patience. He knew how to break down the maneuvers to help understand them and put that truck where you needed it to go. David was the other instructor that was awesome… so if you get either of these two instructors you are good to go. Everyone there has had the experience to back it up. But I want to thank everyone there for the professionalism and guidance. Graduated 11 October and I’ve already working for a trucking company by 7 November. Thanks Lonnie and David!!!

Attended last year from Feb-May (weekends) and I had an awesome time. Very informative and knowledgeable staff. The instructors aren’t just people who learned from a book they are real life truckers with experience under their belts. Billy kept the class fun and entertaining. David helped us ace our backing maneuvers and Molina helped out in the class.
Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone that wants to get their CDL

Great school. Billy, Ed, Martin, Sara, and David all were excellent instructors and knew their knowledge and were very encouraging and educational. Just got back from taking my driving test in Livingston and passed with flying colors and received my license. As long as you study up on your pre-trip for your tractor and coupling of your trailer and learn it word for word, and you have no issues with your driving skills (backing, parallel parking, offset maneuvers, etc etc) the rest is a piece of cake and should have no issues at DPS when you schedule to take the final DPS driving test.

Everyone here is awesome! John and Maria taught me the skills to drive and back big trucks, and Sarah taught the CDL permit material in the classroom. I passed my CDL test first time with Stevens Transport. Steven's 3 week program is very fast paced but it was just enough time. If you are unfamiliar with manual transmissions it may be beneficial to use the Lone Star 6 week course.

Just want to first off say how amazing everyone there was. From Patty who dealt with all the paperwork and the headaches to the instructors Lonnie is freaking amazing and had a lot of patience. He knew how to break down the maneuvers to help understand them and put that truck where you needed it to go. Attended last year from Feb-May (weekends) and I had an awesome time. Very informative and knowledgeable staff. The instructors aren’t just people who learned from a book they are real life truckers with experience under their belts. Billy kept the class fun and entertaining. David helped us ace our backing maneuvers and Molina helped out in the class.

Great school. Billy, Ed, Martin, Sara, and David all were excellent instructors and knew their knowledge and were very encouraging and educational. Just got back from taking my driving test in Livingston and passed with flying colors and received my license. As long as you study up on your pre-trip for your tractor and coupling of your trailer and learn it word for word, and you have no issues with your driving skills (backing, parallel parking, offset maneuvers, etc etc) the rest is a piece of cake and should have no issues at DPS when you schedule to take the final DPS driving test.

Everyone here is awesome! John and Maria taught me the skills to drive and back big trucks, and Sarah taught the CDL permit material in the classroom. I passed my CDL test first time with Stevens Transport. Steven's 3 week program is very fast paced but it was just enough time. If you are unfamiliar with manual transmissions it may be beneficial to use the Lone Star 6 week course.
