We went to Maverick for the driver’s test only. It allowed you two chances to take the test which was needed! I really appreciated them including the second chance for no additional fee. They were very friendly and easy to work with!

Maverick Driving School is worth it! When I got there, I was nervous, as anyone would be when taking a test that finally puts independence within reach. I was on the verge of freaking out. When I walked in the door, the staff were great. They got what they needed done, and my little siblings even found a sweet arcade game set up to spend their time on while I tested.
When it came time to start that car, my instructor was kind, patient, and so friendly. Throughout the test, he told me where I needed to go and made small talk to keep my mind off freaking out even more. My family members have also tested here and had great experiences as well. The test itself was clear, and comfortable to complete.
When I parked that car I had earned my license, but not without the sincerity, and helpful straightforwardness of Maverick Driving Academy and staff. 🙂

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. The only thing Maverick has going for it is that fact is has a monopoly on Parker county.
1) the driving instructors- mediocre at best. There were only two options while there. 1 instructor gave zero instructions and the other was abrasive, belittling, and mansplained everything.
After all of that we paid extra to have them process and mail the drivers license to us. It’s been 4 month, no drivers license, and no response from them. We’ve called multiple times and they either don’t answer or answer and promise to get back with an explanation.
Don’t waste your money. This is a terrible place for our youth to learn such an important life saving skill.

In August 2017, I paid Maverick $265 for drive time instruction for my daughter. Due to her busy after school schedule, we had to change plans and choose a different instruction option for her. In October 2017 I asked for a refund of my $265. We had not scheduled or used any of the drive times. I was told they would process my refund and send me a check. After numerous calls, in-person visits, and promises of the refund, I have yet to receive anything. I have also been told it was "in the mail". Now, they refuse to return my messages. Terrible customer service and business practices. Very disappointing!!

Maverick Driving School is worth it! When I got there, I was nervous, as anyone would be when taking a test that finally puts independence within reach. I was on the verge of freaking out.
